I tried Free Play for Diablo3 for 30 minutes. I then bought Battlechest. I still see upgrade on the character menu. When I click upgrade, I get an error 300016. Other options elsewhere tell me it needs Reaper of Souls. Didn’t I buy Reaper of Souls when i bought the Battlechest?

If by credit card, it may take a few days for the payment to reach Blizzard.
Did your purchase go through, LazyTitan? I’m also interested in getting the Battle Chest but all these errors are stressing me out 
Hey, LazyTitan! This is currently a known issue and we’re tracking reports on this thread.
One workaround that another player mentioned is to try 32-bit mode:
- On the Blizzard Application, go to Diablo III.
- Click on Option
, then go to Game Settings . - Scroll down to Diablo III and check “Launch 32-bit client”
- Retest Diablo III.
