Truly so glad to be "stuck" on 34th season longer

Hey Y’all,

I know for those who have been playing D3 for a long minute, this season feels like FOREVER. That said, as a casual enjoying all of them for the first time… I am TRULY enjoying this Crucible season and am in no rush to move onto 35… I don’t need it to be years worth or anything, but an extra month or so wouldn’t bother me at all!..

As for fun things to consider for combining seasons, it would be CRAZY fun to see the 4 cube slots and crucibles, or 4 cube slots and Ethereal weapons shrug… would be super OP… but for me, that would be A OK lol!

#StayBlessedY’all!

Glad you are enjoying the season!

Introducing themes was one of the best additions to this game. Especially when they got past the 2 seasons of Jay Wilson “and then we doubled it!” and the 2 seasons of free RoRG/LoN.

And super broken for several builds. Necro’s would be speed running GR150s in 2 min with like 800 paragon.

I wouldn’t have a problem with that :call_me_hand:

Same, but also I have farmed many Primal items this Season, yet I have no power left to push further. I keep getting crashes, desynchronize and disconnects; mainly due my own connection issues but when it becomes too often to force me a reset, it’s not fun anymore. Another issue is that my Seasonal stash is filled with junk to the brim. I have to slowly use crucibles and salvage to clear them out.

The issue is not entirely the builds becoming overpowered, but build diversity taking a hit from it too. If power growth is not controlled, your options will narrow down to negate the effort. While it doesn’t sound like a big deal, the lack of build diversity may cause players to leave in droves and your game loses interaction it needed to thrive and those poor numbers will be reflected on some quarterly reports while company still spending money for keeping its services.

I’m wondering why Blizzard aren’t able to plan, and communicate, start and end dates in a better way. Ideally stating the end date in the season announcement.

Yeah if you want to season end but evil B doesn’t want to end it you can make a week break form sunday evening to friday. After you back the game may be there won’t be a new theme but will be progress already.

In a perfect world this makes sense. You have been around long enough know Blizz is anything but perfect. Many things can happen in 3 months that can cause delays. If they had to change the end date, how many “I TOOK THE WEEK OFF FOR SEASON START AND NOW IT IS CHANGED!!!” or “THEY LIED TO US!!! CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT!!!” threads would there be?

i dunno, the season kinda literally just started recently. be cool if the devs would wipe the botters though.

When it was season 27, I played a lot. I was excited when it finally came back to Crucibles, the realized, playing it a second time, it’s nowhere near as much fun as shards and ethereals. Unfortunately, I am in a different boat and can’t wait for this season to end, even if it’s a season that’s not as much fun as Crucibles.

I wonder if any of those threads were really serious and any of them were bold enough to file a lawsuit against Acti-Blizz over a Season start mistake. Guess we’ll never know.

No one’s going to take Blizzard to court over a season’s late start.

  1. A lawyer would have to agree to take a case. And most lawyers work on a contingency where they only take money if they win. Meaning they’d have to front the cost of the lawsuit for the filer. A lawyer’s not going to accept the risk of taking on a company associated with Microsoft when they’re unlikely to win.
  2. The lawyer would have to prove “real harm” to the customer to even get the lawsuit off the ground and I’m sorry. Someone taking a few days off work to play a game, a choice they made, isn’t “real harm”.

Anyway, those people just show how stupid they are for even suggesting suing Blizzard over a delayed season start.

This. If I had a nickel for all the empty court threats I’ve seen for gaming companies, I could buy you a 2025 carton of eggs.

I will add that most of those lawyers who only take money if they get paid are personal injury ones and you usually show them irrefutable evidence up front but I’m sure there could be some for situations like this. I sure wouldn’t want to be one, that’s a huge risk.

In addition, Blizzard is a greedy, money-grubbing entity. I’ll bet they can afford a much better lawyer than some random upset guy.

To be frank, I think those were all just troll threads. Fun to read food for thought and nothing else.
I am sure anyone who stresses over having a sick day from work at the wrong time wouldn’t sue a huge conglomerate. Because let’s be real for a moment; when you are worrying about human resources section at your day job, it’s unlikely that you have enough money to push forward on your whims. Also, if that ever happened I believe none of the magazines would miss such opportunity for a good headline and we would read it in the news.

Oh, I’m sure they were. I see it on other forums too. “I didn’t get what I wanted. Class action lawsuit!”

I play FFXIV and with the recent Black Mage changes, there were several threats of class action lawsuits. Very eye-rolling.

Well, someone filed a $300 million lawsuit against the NFL because Shadeur Sanders fell to the 5th round and they want emotional damages. Don’t underestimate the stupidity of the general population or their willingness to waste important court times or tax dollars.

Do I think it will happen? no. Will I be surprised if it does happen? Again, no.

Agreed, and sadly there are no shortages of stupid people.
