Transmute failed on Ancient

I try to do Caldesann’s Despair - Augment Ancient Item. I put the following into the Cube:

  • 1 x The Grand Vizier - Primal Ancient Legendary with a socketed gem
  • 1 x Gem of Efficacious Toxin - lvl50
  • 1 x Whisper of Atonement - lvl112
  • 3 x Flawless Royal Topaz

When I press Transmute, it says Transmute failed.

Can someone help me figure out what’s wrong?

Use only one legendary gem, not two. Maybe that’s the problem.

You have to use

OR

Both are legendary gems, so one is enough.

In your case the Whisper of Atonement will be more effective
