Im literally salvaging entire pack of legs/greens in every mini seasonal level at times. 4 trips to town per sometimes. Is there a hidden opening weekend buff or am I too used to getting nothing in D4? Lol
Also miss the salvage pet. Way too much junk everywhere.
I think it’d be great combined with the auto-salvage feature from the altar. It’s a shame they didn’t listen to feedback and let us have that for s29. You can craft a lot more this season thanks to the easy bounty mats + death breaths + salvage, which is a good thing.
It’s just annoying having to take multiple trips every fissure. Sometimes I have to go back multiple times on a single level if I want to salvage everything. I’ve probably made 10+ trips for a single fissure that had multiple dense levels and I haven’t done that many. Sometimes you get multiple goblin levels on the same one.
I also think it should give more xp leveling as it’s a lot more fun to level 1-70 in them than doing any of the meta leveling options, but the xp kind of sucks.
Yeah they did the loot explosion so we’d miss the auto-salvage from pet Altar
It’s very helpful in beginning but after awhile you can just ignore most of the items, especially ignore yellow items as they salvage the least mats, I honestly just pick up whites after awhile since you have a conversion ratio of about 4:1 when picking up whites vs yellows.
Unsure how many are aware of that, bringing awareness to that
seriously though. this feels like the old days on PTR before the merchant and ppl had to farm stuff in rifts with that massive magic find bonus. this is the same vibe lol. its a lot of fun.
It makes the gearing issues in D3 a lot more apparent.
The visions have crazy good droprates, which in itself is fun.
The game has no loot filter nor auto pickup/salvage right now (auto salvage of non ancients would be nice). Therefore the trips back to town are actually a little disrupting. In GRs the loot is always at the end and no disruptions in between.
The main issue tho is, the actual progression between ancients and primals/perfect ancients. Even with this insane loot from fissures, it feels like you make no progress there at all.
They should give us a recipe that lets us upgrade ancients to primals with the same rolls and make it cost 1k (or more, just a first suggestion) of each bounty mat. Then we could target farm that in visions
i cant help but feel that with the insane loot and mat drop rate within these new portals comes the downside of imo blizzard nerfing the % on rerolls for ancient items.
i been on d3 since beta and have played each and every season to completion and never have i ever rerolled an item 30-40-50-60 times before seeing an ancient reroll. and i would sit here and say rng is rng but my wife plays as well and we both made this observation and agreed, that with the massive increase to loot and mat drop rate came the down size of them nerfing the odds on getting an ancient via rerolling.
For real, it’s an issue in visions imo, and not one i could’ve seen coming…
Visions drop so much i actually groan when i do them, have to empty bags every 1-2 levels, some levels i gotta do it twice on ONE level, and this is when all i do is pick up legendaries and whites
Not having the salvage pet is what makes it especially obnoxious
Reason it annoys me is it just disrupts the flow too much, almost feels like i spend more time teleporting to town to salvage than i do actually killing monsters.
Combine that WITH the fact that these visions of emnity then kick you back to town after completion, rather than give you a portal to return to where you were, it feels so disruptive.
Either having the salvage pet, or making it so these visions purely drop an abundance of raw materials such as souls and crystals, and only the occasional item, would make these far more pleasant to run
