Why the change in thorns damage?
As to your damage fluctuation, unknown. However - and key here - Hack is a broken item. Its damage does not stack with any set bonuses. Hack, thus, is useless. Grab another item…Pig Sticker is a good choice when equipping for Thorns builds.
i have a number of ancient items, I will look into that, however, it’s fairing pretty well for me. But did not know that.
The easiest way to get a Pig Sticker is to forge some Rare, lvl 70 Daggers via your blacksmith, then walk up to your Kanai Cube and upgrade those daggers using formula 3 (Upgrade Rare Item). There are only two types of Legendary daggers in the game, so your chance for a Pig Sticker is, literally, 50%. Rinse and repeat until you get an Ancient or Primal version with some decent stats on it.
Hack would be super cool if it actually worked. It does not though. Please move along, nothing to see here, lol.
