This weeks CHallenge RIft

No it isn’t. It’s like normal guy being given a gun by the government and told, “Go ahead, just use it.”

And you folks don’t like it.

Or someone in high position of power using their position to get out of DUI/DWI charge.
Give me one reason why we should like and allow it.

Oh, so that’s what this is about…

Console player doesn’t like that computer players have something they don’t…

Well like someone else said, when you stop using auto-aim, I’ll stop using numlock. Otherwise, you’re SOL!

Let’s try that again.

You’re driving drunk and get stopped by cops. You get arrested and charged for DUI because you blew 0,11.

Lawmaker who lives in same city as you drive drunk and get stopped by cops. They get arrested and charged for DUI because they blew 0,16. But unlike you their charges get dropped later because they found loophole.

Are you getting pattern already? Numlock trick is that loophole.

But thanks. Now I don’t feel bad being able to use target lock and able to avoid game mechanics entirely by utilizing i-frames provided by roll.

You guys are a bunch of immature little kids. You basically don’t like Num-Lock because YOU don’t have one. :man_facepalming: I can’t believe you are still arguing this.

Num-Lock is legal, it always has been. Get over it and go play with your controller. You know, the one that doesn’t have a number pad. Boo hoo! :man_facepalming:

So is evade/roll with its iframes even though using it feels like cheating after you learn correct timing.

Last weeks crusader was a worse fail, this one was cake in comparison yet still bad I will admit but easily do’able

The UE one is a piece of cake. You just plod along alternating multishot and your generator as needed. It’s like walking in molasses, but there are plenty of elites. Very easy CR.

nah, I just man up and play the build sans cheating with numlock.

It is SIGNIFICANTLY more difficult to target with a console controller than it is with a mouse. Do you want to disadvantage console players even more?

A legal macro. Despite macros being illegal for in game use.

it was cheating back in 2016 and nothing has changed. Blizzard doesn’t have the balls to ban it and remove it from the game.

So auto-aim is okay, because “it makes the game easier” but numlock isn’t…okay…

Yeah, but they have the opportunity to remove it in D4 and didn’t. I wonder if that means it was intended all along and now you’re just whining because “computer players do things I can’t”.

Well console players do stuff that computer folks can’t and you don’t see us saying “remove it it’s obviously cheating”.

Jealousy doesn’t look good on you.

And…

Console discussion subforum is —>

Talk about hypocrisy. You are eager to use a “legal cheat” just because it is harder to play otherwise, yet you disagree against a “legal cheat” for PC players for no reason whatsoever.

Hahaha, this is rich! Anything that makes the game easier for you, it’s not a cheat, but anything that makes it easier for me, its a cheat.

You know, as a fellow player, I will give you this advice. Put down your shovel, and stop digging.

It wasnt cheating back in 2016 so nothing needed change, thus no bans were needed and no “balls” needed for it either when it isnt cheating.

That’s ONLY because Blizzard is too lazy to ban it. Too many PC players would whine about it…this thread is evidence enough.

I’m happy for Blizzard to remove auto targeting from the console version of the game. As long as they reward console players for the extra effort above and beyond what PC players get rewarded. I mean, if the game is 5x harder on console, we should get 5x the rewards, no?

See above ^^^.

Ow if you say so that must be the ONLY reason then…

Console and PC are 2 different things, they are not competing with eachother so your points are moot.

It’s really easy. First try without trying. It’s a glass cannon build, but it’s also the one I’ve probably played the most over the years, so the familiarity helps I’m sure. Now last weeks rift is an example of a terrible one.

Well, come D4 it will be direct competition as it’s crossplay.

well, duh. At least you have some level of comprehension.

It’s a pleasure to say “I suck” sometimes.
We get an amazing gift from Blizz with the Altar theme and some hard CR’s to go along with it.

The Challenge Rift this week is easy. I did it on the first try without using the Numlock trick. You just need to spin to win and keep your stacks up by firing Hungering Arrow. The rift guardian went down in like 15 seconds after I got to him. He was so so easy to kill just spin to win. no real effort.

I did not do a good job doing the CR. But I still finished before the clock ran out. It was an easy one.
