Blizzard will do everything possible to ensure that players, including console players, switch from Diablo 3 to Diablo 4.
That is why it is now useless to ask Blizzard for any innovations or changes in Diablo 3.
Yeah, and bears poop in the woods and water makes you wet. Too be honest though, Diablo 4 is essentially Diablo 3.9 with all the changes they made. Itemization isn’t quite as dopamine inducing, but it’s much closer than it was at launch. D3 is fantastic in my opinion, and I’d play it more than D4 if it was still getting updates, but it’s not, and it probably won’t for a very long time. Enjoy the game as it is, because D3 is a finished product. If you aren’t enjoying it, then you should probably not play it instead of hoping they make it better.
