Recently been silenced, but now can’t even start a private game? (Error code: 300001)
This is not normal, to be completely disconnected from the game, because some salty kid reported you for kicking him out for doing nothing during bounties!
This is blizzards way of using a system they purposely have allowed this system to be used specifically to cripple people’s accounts so the player that gets victimized by this, shells out more funds to buy the game again.
There is currently a possible class action lawsuit regarding this siphoning money. There is also talk of another lawsuit because Blizzard continues to sell Diablo III on their store page knowing a silence kills this game and prevents people from playing it. IN the USA a company cannot purposely make a product so disruptive while still selling it and or it becomes unusable. The purchase agreement does not include the above 2 problems.
The fact is report has no place being used for chat related issues, People have Block, Ignore, leave chat, and language filter so anyone not using those options or trying to hide behind some lame statement about those options are just added layers is the typical excuse and doesn’t apply. Anyone who refuses to use any of those options has no business complaining, furthermore, anyone who does use them but then goes and reports the person anyway is a trouble maker and abusing the system.
You don’t need to report anyone for chat related issues when you have all thsoe options PLUS after you use them.
TBH General chat has no place in any game as it’s nothing but a walking TOS violation. There is maybe 1-3 people that actually use the chat for it’s real purpose.
What’s really annoying, people are botting out there viciously and never get banned and I’ve always been an honest hands on player, no cheats or god forbid botting and this is the reward… Absolute shambolic treatment. And those who abuse the report option should be looked at themselves, because clearly their intentions are malicious and even without saying a word to someone, you get banned for “abuse”… What?!
