I just did a Vision with 15 levels! What?!

I thought it might be 10 or so, so I traced back through all the portals before I opened the chest…15 levels back to the original portal.

The Fissures can be anything between 1-15 levels. This of course affects how rewarding the Fissure is. At 11+ levels the bounty mat reward at the end is maxed, 60 of each, and the drop rates of legendaries skyrocket.

Crap. I didn’t even look at how many mats each I picked up. But I usually just save all legs till the end, and this time I filled every open slot I had, plus my backpack!..lol

Not sure, but:

  • 1 to 5 levels: 20 of each bounty mats
  • 6 to 10 levels: 40 of each bounty mats
  • 10+ levels: 60 of each bounty mats

And the more you level up, the more loot (legendaries) you will have.

I’ve had a few go down to 15 levels. First one was fun, rest get kinda tedious.

My mother of all Visions had a goblin floor pop around 10 levels down and it was the the huge 2 level map with a big square part on top with stairs down to the border that goes around it. Didn’t bother to count the gobs, but it was definitely a ton. By the time I got done looting, I really wished I had auto-salvage.

What would you call the ones with only one level? :frowning_face:

Merciful.

I would rather have the 1-5 levels ones when farming actual Bounties, and get the 15 level ones when actually farming for fissures in the first place.

lol

But that’s me.

The other night, it took me nearly an hour and a half to do ONE act of bounties, thanks to all the fissures that kept forming during them.

I had THREE fissures form, just trying to kill Azmodan!!!

Wouldn’t it be better to skip the fissures then? That is if one was specifically going for bounties.

Even if the Fissures are nice, there is a moment you have to choose. Bounties (For an item in particular or recipes.) or Fissures.

Typically I try to clear the floor or bounty first after it spawns then do the Fissure, but since the boss for that level is normally short I chose to do the fissure. Than another. And then another…

At some point you just want to see how many you can get during one bounty… :stuck_out_tongue:

I myself just farm them solo. If by chance I’m doing a public bounty. When somebody opens one I don’t waste my time on them. Because you have about 90% of the time some body that just races through. Plus at the end you will say don’t open the chest. Till every body is ready. Again about 50% of the time you have that loser open it.

Try to open one on a map where there are no bountiy, don’t finsh it, open your party

This is what I do. I wouldn’t call them a loser since on console, not chatting. People just do their thing.

Well, I’m playing SSF this season for one thing.

And then I’m going by my own set of rules for another.

What’s funny is, I actually haven’t been using any mats for… Well… Anything. I don’t craft any gear, I dont’ reroll any stats, I don’t reforge any legendaries, I don’t upgrade any rares… I play what’s dropped. Does make the upgrading path a lot longer though. Because now the upgrades are only those items that are better than the one you are wearing, even if you could fix them, which with my rules I can’t. LOL

So its the season of collecting mats for me. I haven’t even been burning my gold. When I do GRs, I don’t even empower them.

Why they didn’t make auto-salvage an option for S29 is beyond me - they HAD to have known how much loot was going to rain from the sky with these Visions.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying this season, but this was a big QoL nerf from S28…

I could have call them something else too. LOL You tell them not to open it and the next thing the timer is counting down. They say I was picking stuff up and by mistake I open it.

Then you tell them do you know about the Alt Key? NO what does the Alt key do? I say if you hold down the Alt Key it makes it easier to pick stuff up. It highlights the items. About 70 to 80% of people don’t know you can do that in the game.

I don’t play console games so what would you hold down to highlight something?

Yup. I would never ever do these in a group. It would be an exercise in frustration and anger…
