The mod gear ruine the game, only Season is not the answer SONY

SONY need to take action over this problem of the game.

Really don’t care if Blizzard sell the game on SONY , and SONY have the PlayStation 3 servers open (so they can export all this items and 20.000 accounts)

We are on 2020, who plays Diablo 3 on PlayStation 3?

The game is ruined by all this loosers who can’t play the game, annoying the rest players over the game
Open GR150 and clear it less than 20" seconds
Threating messages if you close your lobby
Drop all time cheat items on Town
And and and…

Really makes me upset, how a billion dollars company like SONY leave this problem years now.
If SONY can’t take action, I assume Blizzard can add a patch to the game
3 sockets, Billion or Trillion damage, 9 Legendary gems, 20.000…

You enter on game with all this???
Or you have astronomical Paragon points to the Paragon point system
Simple!
Not PSN block
Just the characters return to normal status, and all items gone.

And if someone reply
Budy plsy Seasons

Yes is an option, but I want the option to run the game on all options
As I pay it as a customer

Not to play Offline, because some loosers don’t have better things to do over there own life
And jump on every game lobby.

Go to Sony with the problem, not blizzard console forums.

hahaha. NO. Blizzard can easily introduce only saves for both NS and season. This is Blizzard’s game, the issue rests squarely with their incompetence.

Maybe if Blizzard didn’t nerfed every single build that can SOLO 150 GR on PC or in fact any build that comes close to 150 GR people wouldn’t buy the console version just to use modded to gear to actually clear 150 GR with any items or build they choose…

I also doubt you can complete any GR whether it’s GR1, 10, 25 or 150 in 20 seconds. Unless you have a video proof of what you’re saying I call it BS

Imagine whinning about doing 150 GR speedruns when on PC most players who can’t play the game for 6-12h a day doing META group high GR clears are happy to solo 110-130 GR with only ONE build in season…

Geez players on PC who can’t play all day long would love to solo GR 150 in 10-14 minutes with even ONE build, yet their denied even that, cause if some players manage to solo 150 GR in season or before season even with 10000+ paragon their build gets nerfed or destroyed to oblivion…

No wonder so many players use modded gear on consoles to solo 150 GR if you can’t even clear 150 GR on PC after hundrets of hours of gameplay with whatever build you like without worrying about having this build nerfed to the ground, cause of B*** Sh*t reasons…

This kind of thinking is exactly the reason why people use modded gear, not because they suck at the game, but because they’re tired of being told how they’re suppose to play a game they payed money for or tired of playing hundrets of hours if not thousands yet denied to clear the highiest GR SOLO, even though 4 man META groups do it easily in less than 5 minutes… :man_facepalming:

Well, I don’t think Sony has anything to do with it just like MS doesn’t have anything to do with it. The cheating and modding and hacking has been around for some time and yes, sadly has tarnished and infected the game that it’s a safe bet; has ticked off a lot of players.

The part that troubles me is…and maybe it’s the way Diablo was made and built…but Blizzard has banned and kicked out 1000’s of Overwatch Cheaters. They have gone after 1000’s of World of Warcraft Cheaters…yet somehow, someway, some reason Diablo III has been left alone for cheaters, modders, hackers to do as they wish with no concern.

I’d like to hear an explanation…probably a bit late to do anything or make a difference this late in the game but still like hear the reasons…

Of course they didn’t do anything, cause many people buy the console version just to get the modded gear and speedrun GR 150, cause they can’t even do it on PC in 10-14 minutes with even ONE build that can solo GR 150 even with 10000+ paragon and pretty much maxed out augments…

Imo you should be able to solo 150 GR with even 1500-2000 paragon with at least one or even two builds, so you don’t have to be forced to play like a human BOT more than 10h a day with META builds or in 4 man META groups if you want to clear 110+ GRs up to 150 Solo in season…

Many console players buy D3 RoS just to get modded gear and play the game on easy mode and I don’t blame them after being treaten like :poop: on PC and constantly having every build capable of clearing 150 GR SOLO nerfed or completely ruined…

They won’t BAN D3 RoS console players, cause than no one will buy D3 RoS if you can’t play with modded gear…

Well sadly, that has to do with the mindset of a lot of younger players out there and it’s not just with Diablo. We see and live in a… “I’ve got to be first” and “Look at Me” world now and it’s in gaming at all levels…even in the Pro/Team Sports as been reported.

There’s no real consequences and in fact those who do it and some even knowing it just laugh at it, thinks it’s funny or worse push it, promote it, brag about it and spread it.

but on the plus side, some Devs out there do take harsh and needed actions by banning and kicking out players and frankly they all need to do that. I’m for a “Three Strike Rule” across the board on all games with cheating, hacking and modding….and would go as far as Black Listing Them if they go elsewhere to other games. There really does need to be a price to be paid…just my Two Cents.

It’s laziness. A lot of people will take the path of least resistance. Why do “X” when I can “Y” in much less time and higher reward.

Video prove GR150 on 20 seconds and lower exist.

But is not the point of the main threat here

You refer people on PlayStation 4 use mod gear to clear out.
Is the most silly statement public someone said.
What means I pay the game and need to be able to run GR150?

If SONY cut the option no export from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4 all this loosers will gone.

From the other Blizzard must add an option on PlayStation, to disable the mail box system as Season.

The only thing that is different from PC, is the Nepheliam glory buffer.

That is no excuse, some to say

Ohhh, on PC they run better from PlayStation
We are weaker…
Lets get mod gear, or mod accounts to play the game with Billions or Trillions damage
:joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy:

it’s quite a simple answer to that scenario - nerf group play to the point where people play groups for social fun, not to get a massive advantage over solo players…a very easy fix.

that ain’t Blizzard. They simply do NOT care about seasonal cheaters on consoles. Less than 24 hours after season start, some players already have 2 primals for their build…now I’m not a math expert, I suck at probability, but AFAIK, there’s around 325 legendary items in the game, and not all of them can drop for a particular character class. My guesstimate is that only around 200 or so items can drop for any one particular character class. There are 13 slots for your character, so the chance of a legendary item dropping that can suit your character is roughly 13/200 or 6%. Given that primals are a 1/400 chance (roughly) of dropping, having 2 primals drop, in 24 hours of game play is like what, 6/800 (I think I did the maths right) - 0.0075%.

I’ve had around 800 legendary items drop for me, for 2 primals (string of ears and natalya’s helm). Given that there are 187 items that have a chance of dropping as a primal (vs 13), the odds are obviously much greater that I will NOT get a primal drop for my build. Let alone 2 primals dropping for my build…

So, how are these guys doing it? Well, they’re using the save wizard online save editor to get unlimited mats and doing the reforge exploit until they get what they want…

ONLINE saves, an easy fix, would totally fix these scum cheats. I’ve reported people to hacks@blizzard.com for having 13 primals (yes, all item slots primal) and nothing has been done. Myself and homerjnick reported the save wizard scum at the end of s13 (giving themselves 10k paragon) and nothing was done by Blizzard.

Even if Blizzard doesn’t manage the LB servers on consoles, how hard is it to send an Email to Sony/Microsoft to remove certain players who are obviously cheating? I mean, it would have been simple enough to parse seasonal players who had 10k paragon…bang, instant removal from LBs and have Sony/Microsoft ban their accounts for TOS violations.

Laziness and poor personal morals.

Agreed. I was saying this 4 years ago…the problem firmly rests at the foot of Blizzard who allowed the exports from PS3 to PS4. Even the save editor scum could be stopped (they’ve reversed engineered the encryption around character saves in order to develop software to deploy cheats to character saves, which is illegal under the DMCA in the US of A). A DMCA takedown notice isn’t that hard, or even expensive.

That is NOT true, not even close.

  1. mobs =< master diff have double the life of the same mobs on the PC version of the game

  2. pre clvl 70, it’s the same as point 1) above

  3. FOV (field of view) is smaller on consoles - this results in some mobs like tusked bogans being able to charge you from OFF screen and you don’t seen the wind up animation and can’t therefore dodge it and it’s instadeath, especially on HC.

  4. mob density is much, much, much poorer on consoles. I have never had a 100% GR completion from a single map level in 4 years of constant playing, and I’m referring to the good maps like festering woods. Even with nem bracers, I get to about 75% GR completion, and that’s killing EVERY monster on the entire map. It is not uncommon to see PC players clear an entire GR on a single map level, especially a good festering woods etc.

  5. NG means we have to break our kill streaks, which screws XP bonuses. PC has no such issue.

  6. lack of targeting icon means that some builds are completely crap on consoles vs their PC counterparts (UE nades for example).

  7. random bugs that have existed since time immemorial, that haven’t even been addressed by Blizzard, let alone fixed. Disappearing NG globes, disappearing mobs (and their effects like molten or grotesque exploding area)…just to name a few.

  8. poor performance (lag and rubber banding, slow load times etc). Example, I turn vengeance on, immediately enter a rift, and vengeance has nearly expired by the time the rift has loaded. Why is skill cool down being counted during rift loading time? It shouldn’t be.

Blizzard has ported this game to consoles for $$$$$$ and is using pathetic excuses to not properly support and maintain the game, with a screw you attitude to console players. Why should we be treated like crap? Why should we put up with this? PC players spout BS that there’s not many console players, blah blah blah, last season, I noted that near 350,000 people participated in the season. That’s just on PS4. And that doesn’t include the many players who don’t participate in seasons. Sure, that’s less players than the PC version of the game, but it is not an inconsequential number. Far, far from it.

I’ve done up to 150 trillion dmg with my s6 impale char - this is with very very good gear, augments @ 110, p2700 and a power pylon on a high level GR (123 etc). It’s possible without cheating.

There’s just one solution, just ignore leaderboards. Play with your mates and be happy.
Extensive playing is anyway bad for your health.

Both platform have their “cheating” strategies for sure.

Easy solution for consoles would be online saves only (what we pray for years now), but this will cause lower sales volume.

I refer someone on character view
to have close to 15.000T damage
steady on Town
on game add the cheat items
gives numbers with 25 digits

The onus is on Blizzard to read their own forums and escalate the issues with their products to their publishers and platform stakeholders. The TC is doing exactly what they should be, going to the public forums for the game they have a problem with. The forums the game developer created and lists in their support channels as the location to post your issues for visibility.

Ah, now I understand.
