No, but since there’s a huge XP buff it will easier than ever to get higher paragon and compensate for the difference in skill. I’d argue it’s impossible to be less than 1-1.5k paragon by the time you get the full altar and fully augmented gear.
there’s actually Giant heaps of power, arguably the most there’s ever been. But there’s no hand outs, as it should be.
Go play the game as intended, farm your gear, unlock the altar, farm ancients , farm petrified screams, augment your gear and you’ll reach the highest GR you ever did while playing this game.
No rat runs, no meta runs, no bots not huds no nothing they are not required.
If you hit a wall, contrary to popular belief, the forums can be helpful if you ask.
But I WIN buttons will never have a place in this game.

Rage calculated the altar buffs provide as much as 15 to 20 tiers of power. Builds that can do a 130 at 800p would then have the capacity to do 150 in great conditions.
But no one needs to say anything. This is going to be apparent a couple days after season start.

here’s a hot take: by the time you unlock the whole altar, If you’re playing any B+ tier build, you’ll most likely do 120-130’s easy.

No bigshot streamer would argue 2 hours with someone. Sounds like he had two people watching or so.
Raxxanterax and Wudijo give very good feedback and also consider the casual players. They got the set dungeon note thing fixed for example. They didn’t ask for the potion nerf as it was implemented, that’s just the devs’ fault.

It was in the PTR forum. As far as I know, he wasn’t streaming it. But he did keep calling me a “casual” on account I wanted the potion pylon fix’d and not removed entirely, so there’s that.
I mean, I explained I’m not really what one would call a casual but he said, and I quote, “It’s not your accomplishments in game that make you a casual…”

Then again, he could have been streaming because right after I blocked him and stopped arguing, someone posted in General about completing a 150 with a Wizard. He pops in the thread and said something like “That’s great, now do it with another set or class or whathaveyou”.
Then the OP said something like, “Hey, you’re Ronin, the guy that gets Top 10 on the all the leaderboards, right?”
Felt like a set up to me but that would be delving into conspiracy theories so I can’t be sure.
It’s hilarious when streamers say that the game must cater them and nolifers. Do they seriously think there will be a game if we casuals, the big mass stopped buying games from a certain company due to their games always is too grindy and need to be slaved around for 12+ hours a day?

Big Grind = High Value
If anything this season would be a repeat of Season 21 and season 19, if no one were to bat an eye and cause such a heavy nerf. I get the decision, as mass Conduit is apparently against their design as it induces no interaction at all. At the other hand, it’s only Seasonal.
I mean, they gave such Quality of Life features with a twist for this Season. There are auto-salvage, auto-pickup, doubled materials and even added automated gameplay with refreshing Conduits. What’s to complain about? Game does everything you wanted and asked now.
Power leap offered in the seasons are there because game is pretty repetitive otherwise, it has nothing to do with the player profiles at the first place. The power offered are not for only casuals to climb and be content about it, but any dedicated player to perform under a higher risk as well.
Also, since when dedicated players want to compete for real other than complaining about bots non-stop? This is something to witness they got involved with the community as Diablo 4 release coming near.
What is this even about? I don’t know anything about s28. Has it already started? I don’t see a problem.
