New players will come from everywhere, including people who never even touched a Diablo game.
Now D3 goes way overboard with the loot, but that doesn’t mean the people playing it don’t have the patience to play D2, since a large portion of the D3 player base are also POE fans, which is similar to D2 for the loot and progression.
