Jazz as a spiritual instrument? Absolutely.
This group actually changed the consciousness of the entire planet in the 1970’s & 1980’s.
Czech bassist Miroslav Vitouš along with Wayne Shorter and Joe Zawinul

They should of have JP as the opening act right before the D4 announcement. They would have blown the roof off the building unlike many of the stupid closing acts they usually have at Blizzcon.

Not even close Judas Priest all the way.

I will play ND for the wife If I want to blow out my neighbor’s windows it would be with Judas Preast.

I’ve been around since the late 70’s and listening to music from then to now, I love so much. But for now, I’ll list 3 songs from Artists I could listen to all day, and I do. But I love so much more out there, not tied to one genre or style, even though Hard Rock/Metal is my go to

Amoranthe - PVP

VolBeat (live version, was a great concert too)

Metallica

Hope you enjoy, as I have enjoyed many of the ones you have all posted, thank you!

Also, check out Unleash the Archers, Brothers of Metal, Halestorm, and SOO many more out there. Good gaming and take care!

I started rocking in the 70s with Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Alice Cooper, Van Halen. By the 80s I included AC/DC, Ratt, Dokken, Judas Priest, Fire House, Stryper. Now that I am an old man, I do not care for some of the current stuff. I sill rock with the old groups. In fact, just today one of my clients gave me one of Eddy Van Halans guitar picks. This is how us old timers do it.

You are not wrong at all, i listen to those as well. Like I said, im pretty easy going with my music. However, the 3 i listed and many others are really good callbacks to the classics like those you listed as well as some new ways. I only started listening to “Epic Rock” since the beginning of this year, decided to let Spotify have me try something new and a few songs hit me. Like you, i don’t like alot of the new, usually stick to my CD’s or own music on my phone. But got curious and pleasantly surprised.

Here is another one, Epica “Wings of Freedom”

I love how music has changed, but yet stayed the same over the years. You can hear where they got their inspiration within their music. Like VolBeat, you can hear in their music, Metallica, Elvis, MegaDeath, and more. Plus, I enjoy a good band like Metallica, Scorpions, VolBeat, etc. who play with an Orchestra, fun to me. Point, I love music, even 80’s pop. 90’s kind of lost me with only a few that stuck, 2000’s I honestly can’t think of any other than things I find out now.

So don’t think I’m ignoring the classics, wanted to share the new things i found recently that have me hooked. Alls good, and Van Halen, amazing! AC/DC one of my favorites!

PS. I don’t know how to show the inline video, i tried a few things, all i get are links, my apologies everyone.

From Marcus Kings new album.
this is a slow burning blues song.

Live Version

Young Blood is due to arrive August 26 via Rick Rubin’s American Records/Republic Records/Snakefarm.
