I play Hardcore mode and my buddy who hasn’t played D3 in years heard me saying the game is really improved and he should try it. I power leveled him a character and he died the next day hasn’t played since. I put over 150 hours this season in and in the top 80 on the necro ladder with over 1450 Paragon. He got invited to the beta and barley played a few hours of the game LOL.

Nice to know that beta invite is more like a lottery than a few content makers paradise.
Game developer catering for streamers and youtubers has made games like Diablo and PoE worse. So, thanks for sharing some hope for the little guys that just like to play the games.

Either way, who cares? You get an invite or you don’t, you can’t effect the outcome.

yeah I agree, I was hoping it was more based on gameplay time. I think they lumped everyone who played enough to qualify into a pool and picked them at random. So I may have been in the pool but wasnt selected by the RNG.
I don’t know. I do know it was recent play time in D2R, D3, and Immortal.
Keep in mind, the Beta is under NDA - including the text of the invite email. Breaking that will result in being kicked out, losing access to other tests, and possible account actions - and of course NDA have options for legal actions.

Yeah I have end game characters in both D2R/D3, I play them all the time. But it is what it is, Grats to those who got in.
If you have not received an email invite to the Diablo IV Closed Beta by November 18, then you have not been selected to participate. But don’t fret, public testing phases will begin early next year
They are only on the first wave of invites. There will be more to go.
