I have been at this for days, and it’s ridiculous. People talking like its easy, absolutely infuriating how they literally spawn up under your feet. With momentary lag spike. And just as an FYI (I am running an XB1X), so it’s not like i am using some original day one xbox one that isn’t as up to snuff.
There is literally no way to avoid getting hit, by at least 1 worm as you make your way around. I am not a rookie when it comes to being patient, and mastering techniques. You want hard check out Dark Souls (original or remastered), but this is beyond ridiculous.
Can anyone else confirm if this dungeon mastery is glitched or lagged, due to the season 19 update ??
Cause for the life of me i can’t figure this out, i also tried the demon hunter one and that’s equally as dumb. I gave up on that just through pure frustration with the timer and getting them lined up just pure stupidness.
cannot speak for sorceress dungeon
but as DH I only find 1 dungeon hard but with practice, patient & luck should be able to clear it.
completing Dark Souls is really nothing seriously… It is what the challenge is about. Sure be it you can complete GR150 solo, if I would tell you to beat a mere GR70 but only yellow rares equip. Go ahead if you want advantages 10K Paragon or 3x 150 Lgems.
you are going to find GR150 solo way easier than that GR70 yellow equip
That’s like saying clear the solo 45 GR with no set items, i did that i get the challenge and i completed it as have many others. My point was in regard to the Dark Souls reference, is that i understand hard / difficult games that are meant to be punishing. With Dark Souls it’s not a question of if you will die, it is a simple case of when because you WILL die.
However what i am getting at is the actual dungeon mastery, a challenge is one thing (IE) based on skill but something that is most definitely based on luck than skill is a bit of a joke.
There’s no timing element to the rock worms, because if that were the case you would be able to run over the top of every worm, have it pop up behind you and slam it with the meteor or whatever your using at said time to kill the enemy rinse and repeat.
But that clearly isn’t the case, not to mention i seriously think its bugged. Due to the fact you may indeed do the above tactic, and it will work for some but one will most definitely pop up right under your feet with zero chance to evade.
And i have spent hours (over a period of days) trying to defeat the dungeon, to get caught by the same thing each time. It makes no sense that others are claiming no problem easy done, yet me same issue every time as stated above.
oh rock worm again maybe sorceress dungeon is different…
but M6 that is the easiest dungeon of DH compare to the rest of DH
Look at your Mini map instead not your main DH … say anything “the dots” is close to you … either valve back or forward or just fire away…. rock worm “dot” will evade you or close to you since it is in burrow stage… since it is the only “dot” on yr mini map you can 100% be sure that is rock worm… NEVER fire because you will be hit… so just run forward or back BUT NEVER around… he will unburrow some time after leaving it defenseless so just kill it…
move on n wa lah you complete it in no time…
dun valve trigger happy, focus more on yr mini map instead of DH view… never fire when worm is in burrow stage…
tip
your sentry is not firing any shots but “dot” is close to you it is worm 100% so just run to bait it out in case you find it hard to focus on mini map
On my PS4, I never have an issue with the worms. The spawn points where they first appear are static. Make note and drop some AOE there.
I don’t want to be “that guy” that claims it’s easy, but TBH it really is.
What room or corridor are you constantly getting tagged at? I think there are really only 6-7 spawn points for them.
Hint: This is a set dungeon you actually want to bring a follower in with you.
The worms appear in the same general areas. Know those areas and let it attack your follower.

Won’t it count as a fail if the worms hit the follower ??
No, follower hit is not a fail.
Tips…
Most set dungeons are easier with specialized builds for the dungeons.
The enemies are not tough so you don’t need to be doing high damage for kills. Torment difficulty doesn’t affect set dungeons.
Tal set is very strong so a lot of gear, skills and passives can be switched for mobility and resource management as needed. Use Aether Walker (wand) for mobility, and deathwish (sword) for damage. One armed, the other in cube. Doesn’t matter which. Use disintigrate, fire rune as primary attack.
Watch the minimap. They made it easier a few patches ago so all enemies in set dungeons are shown on the map from the get go. You can see when a worm is approaching and you can teleport to safety then strike back.
Good luck.
Thankyou for getting back to me, also i want to let you know that while i did NOT complete the tal rasha set dungeon. I randomly walked in cool calm and collected, first try TODAY blitzed the Demon hunter dungeon. Maybe more luck than judgement, but i’ll take it. Mainly because i have never cared or bothered to complete a season properly, and due to this being the last of the year. I wanted to fully engage and go as far as i can, i can safely say this time i have completed the season challenges, and marching on towards my full Primal setup. Albeit slow, its happening lol. Needless to say i am happy
