A bonus passive skill that’s not just bad but I can’t even use it if I want to?
What am I missing?
It doesn’t work. It’s just one of those troll combinations like getting Karlei’s Point power on DH’s Windforce.

HK nailed it. It still might be a useful weapon… but keep grinding fella.

We told them this on the PTR forums.
They didn’t listen, or didn’t care, and went live with it anyway.

I grind and grind for upgrade and get trolled.
That’s ok, i’ve been at this game long enough to enjoy the grind.
But seriously, being too lazy to block unusable combinations?
I guess D3 really is on it’s last legs…sad.
I wonder if the devs thought of this or if anyone reported it from ptr testing, and if so, did they leave it in because they think it’s funny?

The PTR had Crusader Ethereals roll up Heavenly Strength, which is the Passive that allows the Crusader to hold a two-handed weapon and a shield, with the penalty of -20% damage.
All Crusader Ethereals are one-handed. 
So if one rolled up Heavenly Strength as a Passive, it actually penalized the drop.
Thankfully it disappeared after the PTR. I’m imagining that Sword and Board didn’t get the same fate because all class-specific Ethereals share the same random table. Sword and Board works with Gimmershred and Doombringer…

The did fix the Crusader, granted all the Crusader Ether’s were 1H, but they need to fix a 1H passive on a 2H weapon for Barb’s as well.
