Switch characters = can't create new games

So, I’m having an issue that started with the new season, and lately it has been getting worse and worse. Basically: if I switch characters, I can’t create a new game for a while. It gets stuck and I receive the error “Can’t connect to game”. (No error error number or anything). And it’s not a problem related to my ISP: I can play two hours in the same game, clear up everything, and when I try to go for another character, I end up closing the game because I cannot play anymore. I’ve reset the router, and it’s the same. I do believe it’s a server-side problem, but I’m willing to try anything at this point.

Any ideas?

Try to clear your Diablo III/Battle.Net cache on your PC. Not sure if it will help, but still.

It worked… once: today I wasn’t able to start a game at all, did that and could play. Switched characters, got the error (which says that I can’t join the game, not create it, but still), tried again with the cache thing, error persists.

This is very frustrating, I don’t play videogames anymore because I don’t have the time or the will to start learning new mechanics, so it’s D3, and sometimes I go back to Portal 2 for some portal shenanigans in custom maps. I guess I’ll have to stick to Portal, cause I don’t think I’ll get any help from Blizzard.

And no, this is the computer I use for work, it is a laptop and it doesn’t run D4. I wanted to play the beta and it didn’t work :frowning:
