Disgraceful that is. I’m quite shocked. National minimum wage should mean you get no lower than promised per hour.

In some places if you have a big group, they will make the tip mandatory and will force it to be pretty high. That does not apply to most tables though or average service.
Business lobbies control congress hence control the laws. There are insane loopholes in labor laws, tax laws, etc.
P.S. Want to be even more scared? Child marriage is legal in most of the US (44 out of 50 states), including children under 14. This means children under the age of consent. Oh, and if they are pregnant or give birth, it means they can legally get married - it is written an an exception in some states. The amount of abuse is terrible

Yh i know all about tax unfortunately. As for children being allowed to marry though under age of consent… that’s just absurd.

Fie on marriage contracts, one’s word should be enough. If it’s not working for both parties then that should settle it, you can’t argue it into working, or mandate misery out of a person, I don’t care how well-written the clause is.
I never troll or yell… But I will say, do not have another event until you address x,y… and they went ahead and had another event. by not having another event (so fast), it was telling people your opinion doesnt matter, we will do what we will do so piss off… They are at more fault by having another event so quickly without actually reading any of the survey stuff.
Me voicing my opinion is just that, my own opinion. I do know realistically you need time to make changes, heck, I’m a telcom engineer for a major world wide law firm and its my job to make sure people can have dial tone and internet and if I put out a survey asking the attorneys for feedback, if i don’t act on that feedback within an hour… its hell to pay for wasting billable time

No, it was taking in information only and as been pointed out earlier, not enough time has passed to make any changes. Also, have you even considered you were in the minority? If you were part of the minority in a survey about changes, why on earth would you believe devs would do your thing?
This isn’t about not listening and saying your opinion doesn’t matter. This is 100% you not understanding how things work.

i dont say this often but I would bet my check that what i submitted 94% of the player base said very similar.
You have no way of knowing at all so it is pointless. Facts, are a survey was just released. They’ve bately had enough time to go over the results and you expected changes already.
There have been countless dev blogs and AMAs about feedback not being implemented and only 1 reason is because the devs don’t like said feedback.

I don’t dislike the concept of tipping, I actually do like it. It’s your basic incentive program. However, forcing them to cough up some of their tips to cover min. wage is disgusting. Of course, because of that, customers are pressured to be obligated to tip no matter the quality of the food or service. It’s greed at the very core. A business can still make a tidy profit paying their employees a proper wage.
Of course they are worried about that missing 2 percent. Oh noes! I am only making 348% profit instead of 350%!!! What ever shall I do? Oh, the humanity.

You think they care especially after being booed on stage and it go viral all over the internet? They want data. Data on how they can take even more money from you.
Your opinion is nothing. They will keep plowing on with their plans, and SLOWLY change things to the point where people don’t recognize that their opinions were passively used but Blizz will claim it as their own idea asking for praise. They also use this time to string players along with the hope that an update or change will make the game better. In the mean time they already got you, playing the game, and spending money.
They are not in a rush to change the formula when it is not even at risk.
