While playing the game with 5.1 surround sound enabled on a surround sound system most of the audio, in particular combat fx and dialogue, comes from the rear speakers. While there is audio coming from the front speakers, it’s really quiet compared to what comes out of the rear speakers. Is this intentional and if not how do i fix this?

This doesn’t sound intended and is most likely just a configuration issue with the 5.1 setup that you have. I would recommend checking a few things in-game first:
- In the in-game Options under Sound, make sure the Sound Channels are set to High (128)
- Make sure the Speaker Setup shows as 5.1
- You can also try resetting the game settings to defaults and then test the sound again.
If you are using any surround sound software or a sound card, try checking the 5.1 settings there. In some cases reinstalling the software/drivers can help as well.
Tried resetting the settings/repairing the game, didn’t work, ingame settings are correct as far as i can tell. Channels set to high, output device, mode set to 5.1 etc.
Audio signal goes via HDMI from my graphics card directly to my receiver. Which works for everything else, games, movies etc.
