Just wanted to share this, as I’ve noticed most people I’ve power leveled have not seen this yet. You can use a Petrified Scream rift to power level people in a single rift. Bring your level 1 friends into the Echoing Nightmare rift, let them die immediately, then complete the rift (try to get above wave 80). Once you finish the rift, let them revive and when you open the loot chest they will all be lvl 70.
My TikTok has a video of me showing how its done (search pr1malPancakes)
I never resort to cheating like that to powerlevel.
i level myself super fast through gem of eases, T-6 set dungeons, and pure skill.
i also dont install tiktok, since it steals an insane amount of private information, but not because of that, but because it literally hosts the worst video from the worst content creators on the entire planet, and i’m pretty sure i can safely say the galaxy too.
Being level 70 doesn’t really do any good if you don’t have gear or materials (to craft it) since you won’t be able to handle the enemies that suddenly outscale you…
So, yay, there’s a way to power level your own alt in a multibox. Woohoo…
That’s the way I do it, too. I set up an entire outfit of twinked legendary gear for my alts. Takes a bit of time to set it up, but I wanna do GRs with a new toon, anyway. Then my alts take two quick trips through rifts at T6 and they’re set and they can use that twinked gear until they find their build items. Then I set that twinked gear aside for the next alt.
First thing I do when I’m able after I start a HC character, is to level up Gem of Ease to 25, roll a Hellfire amulet and Hellfire ring. Both can be worn by a level 1 toon. If I die, I can easily level myself back to 70 in less than a few minutes.
As for using a Petrified Scream, obviously you can’t do that with HC, but works great in Soft Core. I use this method. Running PS past 125, you can level someone to 70 and 170 Paragon when you close. Super fast.
What the hell are you blabbing about? And wtf is twinked??? What does that mean? Do you mean Tweeked? First of all, one needs to grind the hell out of GR’s until a Gem of Ease drop’s and second one has to have a descent 2 Handed weapon, like The Furnace and once you have that, you would want to Sanctify it for max stats then socket it then throw a Flawless Royal Emerald in it to really TWEEK it out. Then hopefully you’ll be able to level yourself to 70!!! I’m saying all this cause you made it sound so easy to level to 70 when it’s not! There is a lot of grinding that goes with it. One last thought, a player cannot enter a Echoing Nightmare rift unless that player already has a level 70 character in his stable.
Definition from Wikipedia: twinking refers to a character gaining equipment with the assistance of a higher level character, particularly by giving the low-level character higher level equipment that is otherwise unattainable
Whereas TWEEK: Common misspelling of tweak
Tweak: A minor adjustment or modification.
It’s a very old term. Rarely seen it used outside of MMO:s though. In the case of D3 removing level requirements from level 70 gear or use a gem of ease in a 70 weapon for leveling would be twinking.
It’s pretty easy. Sure, to solo your own chars to 70 quick requires some work beforehand, most of it you’ll get done by just playing the game though. Leveled my Wizard up the other day solo, took me 1 rift 1-66 and a few monsters in a second, so what 5-6 mins.
Leeching is when you join a game and do nothing beside watching someone else do all the work. Pretty much the polar opposite of twinking, which is decking a low char in high gear to be able to perform way above their level.
Warcraft player I take it /waves…was cool seeing the twinked reference lol!
Twinked toons in WoW though that would godmode you in a BG were the worst, literally just cheating at that point.
It’s nice setting a new D3 toon up with all the loot tho, Meteorblade showed us his lvl 1 not long ago, decked out in full primal gear lol, that was pretty cool!
I recognise it from World of Warcraft. No idea how PvP is these days but, back in vanilla, wargrounds were split into level range brackets, i.e. 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60. The biggest disparity in power levels was in the 10-19 bracket, as those are the levels at which some classes got really good abilities in their late teens, i.e. a level 19 hero vs a level 10 hero was a very one-sided fight. This led to high level mains creating alt heroes which they’d get very nice BOEs for, with high-level enchants on, and so on, further widening the gap between a normally geared 10-19 hero, and a level 19 hero with high-end gear with enchants on. Level 19s that were geared / enchanted this way were referred to as twinks. They tended to be rogues or hunters.
WoW came out in 2004, so the twink term’s almost two decades old at this point.
