Right now we get more legendary items from a GR75 or a T16 rift than from Greed’s chest, so it’s really pointless and underwhelming.
My suggestion is to make it give us 3x (or any multiple) the materials required for Law of Kulle and Hope of Cain instead of other items (excluding the first drop of the BotH).
I think most of us would prefer to be able to upgrade and reforge a legendary rather than keep getting a few forgotten souls.
I think a primal puzzle ring should yield a guarantee primal from her treasure chest (no pun intended) if you were to kill greed on T16. Low chance of getting a primal puzzle ring let alone a useful primal. It’s also to differentiate between ancient and primal puzzle.
The Vault lives up to the expectation of greed… one obtains a somewhat large cache of coin. Anything else is merely a bonus. GRs do not provide much, if any, money and often cost it merely to empower so the difference is rather obvious.
That said, all the “boss” treasure chests need an improvement. I really dislike opening Diablo’s for example, the game’s namesake, and getting 2 items and a small pile of gold… especially on T16.
You find 3 random type goblins guaranteed at regular vault and Greed fight is just extra guaranteed 2-3 legendary items akin to another goblin. If you look at the content you clear it’s a narrow corridor with spiral stairs and around hundred monsters only.
In Nephalem Rifts you slay a few hundred demons just to get the Rift Guardian and can keep clearing after that hence drop rates are justified by its difficulty.
If you want more loot then be on the look for ancient Puzzle Ring and ancient Bovine Bardiche. Least you can do is not closing Nephalem Rift after you killed Rift Guardian and keep clearing the floors 'till the end stone. There are millions of different approaches if you are hunting for loot in the game.

I skip killing greed and just remake the game
Bardiches, ancient or not, have the same result, a Not The Cow Level.
It’s not that difficult to get primal puzzle ring.
Angelic Crucible + puzzle ring = primal puzzle ring

It is kind of silly that the most efficient way is to skip Greed. Or at least so much. She should give more items maybe? Or what about a ton of gold and gems.
I do go kill her generally though. But I tend to stack up Puzzle Rings till I have a bunch and only do them when I need a bit of a break from GR’s, so I am not focusing full on on efficiency then.
Totally what we need. How many people even get primal Puzzle Rings? Not like it will make some huge difference and make primals rain from the sky.
Good primal > Good and bad ancient.
The devs never made claims that angelic crucible were going to be a permanent feature. Using a seasonal theme in attempts to make a point is pretty narrow minded.
They could add bounty materials for that act in the bosses chests, as an alternative to getting the bounty caches, with Greed’s one dropping all of them. When crafting materials were first introduced, they actually dropped from bosses.
