Imagine the horror, having to push buttons to play a video game.
If you have nothing serious thought then please leave the topic, thank you.
I am being serious. Pushing buttons and refreshing buffs periodically is part of the game. Thereās already a way to do what you want - itās called botting. If you want the game to do things for you automatically, whereās the risk and why even bother playing?
How about pressing alt + 1 would set the skill to auto cast mode.
You know there is a different to push a skill each 3-4 seconds (along with managing Strafe and HA with mouse buttons and looking into Momentum stacks) and mashing all the short CDs like a crazy each seconds alternating them.
Played UE DH was ok Impale nice, WW Barbarian was a bit quick, still ok. Crusader was fine, but slow, TR Monk was playable (just random stack drop lost interest in the class). After many class and build plays, this GoD DH is exhausting for me. I am happy that you are all so in a good condition to able to focus all these things along the mobs and maps and doors/shrines to play it smooth. One more thing that makes it hard, lot of time hitting HA is not getting momentum, even when cursor is not near DH, it is just moving more and more. And seen in a lot of Youtube video build recommendations this Numlock trick, so its not the end of the world to set SOME skills on it. I am not saying we should set all of them, just some.
I am not speaking about automating all the things, just easy the stress on some builds and let focus on the game itself. I have found myself focusing the bars 90% of the time and loosing the fight, just going blind where I can.
I agree, GOD is exhausting to play even with num locking. Especially, the build requires you to num locking more than 1 skill. Just turning on and off the num locking everytime u enter and exit the rift is super exhausting.
Iām confused, why does GoD build require to numlock something? I like the set and builds based on it but Iāve not numlocked anything nor ever seen any need for it.
I am running with blade armor, vengeance and smoke screen. I set them all to numlock. Otherwise my left hand start hunting after 30 mins of play.
Just a thought, have you considered rebinding the skills to more convenient keys? Any pain from the gameplay to your hand might simply be due to poor key locations which strains your hand.
A S D F works for me. Palm of my hand rests on desktop, only have to move fingertips. Also puts Force Stand (shift) in range of pinkie finger and Force Move (spacebar) in range of thumb. My hand never cramps or get tired and I have early onset arthritis and have banged rivets on airplanes for 30+ years. If anybodies hand should cramp up itās mineā¦
Maybe u dont play for too long, I see u only have 580+ paragon this season.
Thatās because I am finding it really hard to get too awfully excited about this season. Maybe I earned those points in one 6 hour run? You wouldnāt know, would you? I didnāt, but you get the idea. And trust me, I have played plenty of extended stretches in the past.
For example in Vyr builds the button spamming is honestly just excessive, to the point of risking permanent damage to your wrists/fingers if you keep at it for longer periods. It is Blizzard fault that they designed the build to be more efficient when you spam abilities continuously to gain stacks quicker. Either they give autocast for that or they stop using themselves (ultra casual 2h/week players) as reference for when designing a build.
I think it would be fine to implement it as an option for certain skills. Just donāt know why you would want to use it. Like others have said part of the fun of some 6 second buff being in your build is constantly having to make sure you keep it up and not just having it be there. Brings in some engagement. I think the game would be super boring if you would play with everything on auto the whole time. Would run around and use 1 mobility skill and 1 attack one in so many builds.
But for speeds, yeah there it would be nice. And in the end to each his own.
I agree. Builds like Heavens Fury, while powerful, are unattractive to me due to the insanely mindless spam. Laws of Valor, 50 defensive Fist stacks, 3 offensive Fist stacks, Iron Skin, AC, while managing OROTZ procs, and COE rotation, all while not overusing CC due to cc immunity and the awful Bracers of Fury requirementā¦horrific.
Sounds like hacking to meā¦
Play legit, be legit.
It is not, Blizzard himself allow it to use.
Try out a build we mentioned earlier and see how chaotic it will become.
