So many primal ancients have dropped for myself and many players that turn out to be useless. Allow a second enchantment (stat re-roll) to be placed on Primal Ancient gear. The price for the enchantment would include another piece of Primal Ancient gear, and this would mean that every Primal Ancient piece that drops would be useful.
Price for a second enchantment on Primal Ancients:
- Any piece of Primal Ancient gear
- 100 Forgotten Souls
- 500 Death’s Breath
- 50 of each Bounty material
- 10 Flawless Royal gems
The second enchantment would only be allowed on Primal Ancient pieces, and would work exactly like normal enchantments, where random options from that stat slot would be chosen. This means you might not even get what you want after spending the massive amount of resources it would cost to perform a second enchantment.

That’s a no for me as well.
As far as why, it’s just one more thing to make the game easier. The game is easy enough as it is… If anything, the game needs to be made more difficult. There have been so many buffs since Loot 2.0, paragon levels and the addition of greater rifts, it’s crazy.

Yea. Be able to enchanting twice two is doubly better than once twice.

Given how hard primals are to get, there shouldn’t be so many which are just insta-salvage because your well rolled ancient in the same slot is better. They should provide the same kind of boost that an ancient provides over a standard legendary (which was what was proposed originally, but leets freaked out at the thought of someone who wasn’t them getting lucky early in the season and getting one). As they currently are, they’re mostly ‘meh’. Being able to enchant twice would be fine by me.
Because every time they introduce more power creep into the game they have to nerf something to compensate. The problem isn’t that they nerf the top end to keep players who maxed out their characters in groups below GR150 solo, it’s that those nerfs carry down to the mid tier solo players and screw them royally. Keep it up and the only way to get above GR100 will be to play in groups.

I got 300 useless primals last season! In the end I had 2 (semi)useable ones with only 3 of 4 desired primary affixes (after changing one affix) (so good ancients were still better…)
I would love to see a Primal reroll cube recipe. Something like: Primals melt down to 1 Primal Forgotten Soul, use 50 Primaral Forgotten Souls to reroll one Primal (as a Primal, just reroll the affixes). At least all of those useless primals could eventually be used to get a second chance at a good primal.
