I AM talking about the PEC Upgrade. I own D2R only.
It seems that the Upgrade pricing for now is according to the normal prices rather than the discounted prices.

D2R 39.99 USD
Diablo Prime Evil Collection 59.99 USD
Diablo Prime Evil Collection Upgrade 20 USD

Are people who don’t own D3 able to post here? If you only own D2R, you technically shouldn’t be able to post.

Did I mentioned I have purshased the PEC Upgrade? That means I own D3
Eternal Collection.
It is my friend who owns D2R and wants to get the PEC Upgrade for a fair price.

Is there a way to upload a screenshot? That would be much more straightforward.

Some people who did not pre order D4 or who requested a refund are still posting on the D4 forum.

I know what you mean, I am showing that the mods are not enforcing the guidelines on any of the forums.

I’ve heard that you need a PC license, not just owning the game to post, which is asinine. 1) Console players are players too. 2) Buying a license does not deter trolling, contrary to what the person who told me this said. There are trolls who buy multiple licenses so they can sock puppet, which can be more harmful than the usual trolls.

Ah.

The forum system periodically refreshes permissions. Meaning depending on the timing, one could refund (or in the case of the beta ending) still be able to post until their permissions refreshed.

One way to force a refresh is to log on and back in. (Sometimes a cache clear is needed too.) So it’s likely that that those who haven’t purchased or have refunded would lose the ability to post if they logged out and back in.

After my WoW sub ran out, I was able to post for about a month before the system refreshed me and removed my permission.

I wouldn’t say it deters trolling. It’s to mitigate spam from mostly non players (cheating/advertising organizations).

For example, in D4 PC there was a several day run of Russian propganda spam. If the spammer is just interested spamming only, they aren’t going to buy a license to a game.

But yeah, ligitimate players are more likely to purchase several licenses, sometimes to troll.

Now that you mention it’s a friend, it makes more sense.

If your friend only has D2R, the PEC and PEC Upgrade should give everything the same. The PEC would just adjust the price at the checkout screen to account for D2R.

Does your friend have the regular PEC that’s on sale available in the shop? If so, what does the price say at checkout?

Thanks. Please note that the PEC does not include the Digital Deluxe contents nor the upgrade of Reaper of Souls. What I am talking about has no relation with the DD. upgrade at all. Don’t get confused.

Yeah. I’ve totally let the DD thing go.

However, the PEC does have RoS and Necro pack included.

D2R, D3, RoS, Necro, pet and wings.
