Why is there no auto sort? Impossible to sort in between runs cuz verybody is speed running like their 1 min is Obama’s 1 min. No matter how organised usually by the end of the day it’s undone. Auto sort wld cut sorting time by more than half.
I know lots play only 1 class 1 build and delete everything else, no sorting required.
For quick runs, I usually dump the goods in empty stash tabs, then sort through/salvage it later.

Most players know which items can never be good and which rolls are crap. So they instant salvage those items…
“auto sort” would be difficult to implement because everyone has their own preference of how they like their stash tabs to look like. Some sort items by class, some sort items by main stat, others sort by item type (chest, glove, boot). It might be helpful for you but it wouldn’t be a useful feature for the majority.
Grim Dawn has an Auto Sort for in town stash. Their tab system is different, but they do have multiple tabs for their stash. There is also a transfer stash with the option for extra tabs that can be used as extra stash, that has an auto sort as well.
If D3 or D4 had that, there should be an option on the UI to turn it off. I hate clicking on that button by mistake and it messes up my assortment. I have things organized a certain way for each tab. As stated above, everyone has their own preference of how they like their stash tabs to look like.
GOOD IDEA. Some people will find it useful, others will not. If it is ever implemented, AGAIN, there needs to be an option to disable it.
Learning is the most important aspect of Diablo. Without it, your not going anywhere. Start learning to manage your stash and be more happy playing Diablo.
