Wanted to come back and play the season and have had fun until i logged on today and suddenly started having these freezing issues where everything freezes for around 5-10 seconds and it has gotten me killed several times now. Sometimes i dont get them during a rift and the next it happens several times and it’s really off putting. Was excited to play this season but if i can’t figure out a fix for this i am going to have to give it up. I see similar posts on here so i feel like i’m not alone in having this problem.

GTX 1660ti
i5-9400 2.90GHz
16 gb ram
I should be able to run this game easily with my specs even though it is not a high end pc it’s far exceeds the system requirements for the game.
There’s a thread with Blizzard responses, almost 600 posts in it, and approaching 55K views all about this, and it’s always near the top of the forum. The problem’s been ongoing for almost a year now. There are workarounds detailed in the thread…
Well its a fast game so free sync or g-sync is optimal for this game
i went and got a free sync monitor enabled g-sync and works good now
nvidia suggested also to go into nvidia control panel under 3d settings global to set latency to ultra and max fps to 140 for the 144hz and v-sync to on
and in game setting are fullscreen v-sync off and max for and background UNCHECKED
