You mean Min Level, right?
Normal
The description only says “Max Level” but it’s not defined
Max Level refers to Char Level 70
Ah…ok…thanks
So, a T1 character is enough to complete the Conquest?
Normal is enough. T1 ofc ok.
Keep in mind that you need to complete in one sitting.
Once you create a game (campaign mode), you can’t leave the game until you finish the whole story. You can go to town, but not quit.
The timer start from creating the game and finish when Mathael is killed.
Then it’s pretty much undoable with a Wizard?
It is doable by Wizard, but it is not a popular choice.
You can check out the leaderboard of this conquest on the website (or in-game): Sprinter - Rankings - Diablo III
You need to be very familar with the campaign and the maps. Do some practices before actual trial.
Season 22 does not have a route for me to complete
I’m too old and don’t have twitchy fingers and S22 has no Conquests that don’t require a speed build.
Even my Vyr’s set with all Ancient pieces isn’t fast enough
I just tried and it took me 25 minutes to do Act 1
S22 will probably be the 1st Season I won’t be able to complete, sad to say
To be honest, I have never tried Sprinter before because I can’t resist killing everything I see. And I sure “luck” is required because if you make a wrong turn, you’ll probably fail.
For S22, I’ll try On a Good Day (easy), Years of War, and Boss Mode.
Each class has 5 sets, that is 5/6 of Years of War. Just need 1 more set. Note that, some sets don’t have class requirement. I had worn a Jade set on a DH to get it done before. Worse scenario, create a second hero.
I haven’t tried Boss Mode before, but I think it is possible for me.
Level 3 gems to 65 will naturally happen on your way to Guardian.
GR55 solo with six sets. Sure, requires 2 heroes, but easily done.
Boss Mode - if you can’t solo it, do it with two people. One of them runs to the “long” bosses like Adria, Queen Araneae, Siegebreaker which are far from waypoints and in maze-like maps, whilst the other player runs to the “short” bosses that are close to the waypoints. The player doing the “long” boss runs says in chat when they’re at a boss, and initiates the boss check, the player needing the conquest accepts the invite and goes in and kills the boss whilst the “long” player is already running off for the next one.
In this way, the “short” player gets all of the bosses quickly because the time they would normally spend hunting for the “long” bosses is being spent by the other player. Once the “short” player has gotten their conquest done, swap roles and get it for the other player. Using this method I’ve helped people get this done (by me being the “long” player) in 16-17 minutes.
Boss Mode is probably the only other Conquest I’ll be able to do.
On A Good Day is pretty much a gimme
BTW
PTR 6.9.10 has been an absolute blast to play for me.
I’ve been thinking about creating a post here thanking the Dev team for it too
For Sprinter, you can check out PokeyToe’s campaign run, as they include the gear and skills at the end. Just remember, a good Sprinter build is different than a speed build you might use for bounties or rifts. It’s all about the speed.
Sprinter is difficult when learning, but learning it is useful as it’s a conquest every other season pretty much, and it’s one of the faster conquests to knock out of the way once you do know it. There are also guides online as to which NPCs you can skip, areas where you can take shortcuts via teleport, zones with fixed locations, so you won’t need to explore most of the map, etc.
But if it’s too difficult, and you want the seasonal journey complete, the 6 dungeons with different sets is probably going to be the easiest to complete, even over creating an HC char. Yes, it will require another character though.
This is the worst combo for me too. gems, easy. Boss should be easy, but I play solo and it takes me forever just to get to adria. I could probably practice to know the maps better. The gr55 are easy enough. The sets are easy, just takes awhile for me to collect the easy ones, but multiboxing helps. On my way to level gems, my alts can collect the 4 necs, ik barb, thorn sader and nat/mar sets. Just takes a while longer to get to guardian with this combo.
It’s doable. If you haven’t done it before, I’d strongly recommend you do it in a group first. Or try it on monk.
Wizard is actually decent because you can jump gaps. It’s not the best, but I’d put wizard around 3 (out of 7 classes) for speed.
Monk is by far the fastest (it’s not even close), I’d probably rank DH second overall and wizard maybe third. I’m faster on wizard than I am on DH, but I also have a ton more experience with wizard. The average person is probably a little faster on DH than they are on wizard. Especially if they don’t play the actual wizard Sprinter/Speed Racer setup and just do something basic with Aether Walker. The best wizard setup is a pretty weird build, it’s definitely not something standard you would run (4p Vyr’s, tons of CDR and attack speed, Aether Walker + Cosmic Strand w/ Calamity rune).
My solo wizard time is down under 51 minutes. I’ll get it down under 50 minutes someday once I get back to speedrunning again.
If you really want to learn Sprinter/Speed Racer, I’d recommend starting with a group before you try it solo. And try it on monk first to learn, monk gives you a lot more extra time to make mistakes so you have a little more leeway and don’t need as clean of a run.
Leveling gems to 65 does not require a speed build.
Doing a gr55 with 6 different set builds does not require a speed build.
The hardest conquest in the entire list solo is completing the campaign in under an hour. I would avoid this one like the plague unless you are super pro. If you want a 3rd conquest, I would do the gem leveling on HC or find someone to help you with Boss Mode. Boss Mode is highly doable by all classes solo, but you if you need the help, running in a group makes it pretty easy.
Thank you Meteorblade.
I don’t know anyone to join me in a game anymore. I’ve been too sick for the last 6 years to game a lot.
Join a couple of communities. There are a couple of achievement hunter/conquest communities that are very helpful. Just help out where you can and if you need help ask politely and usually there is someone there to help. I usually carry a half a dozen or so groups each season Boss Mode is available. Just remember that the entire game is usually dead 2-3 weeks into a season, so if you need help, that is the best time to get it.
