It’s possible I was simply missing something, but I could not get spike traps to detonate without using the Custom Trigger rune. I tried on T6, where I could comfortably survive standing in a pack of enemies while waiting and they simply wouldn’t go off. With and without Trag’ouls, the Lightning Rod wouldn’t go off. I had an Elite enemy standing in the traps for well over the 1.5 seconds it’s supposed to take for them to arm without the bracers. With the bracers, I had several enemies standing inside without any detonations.
Are you sure you’re trying to detonate Spike Trap runes with Hatred spenders? Only Custom Trigger detonates with Hatred generators, the other runes are Hatred spenders.
