Until today i have been able to see the stacks of barrier blade building up to 4x stacks. I have tried different chars and can confirm i can no longer see if the barrier blades are actually working. I’m now unsure what i saw but i dont even think the barrier blade when cast was red. I’m sure when i cast into the air i would be able to see immediately if a stack was applied. Now its not showing at all
(This seems to have happened ever since i equipped fragment of destiny in my weapon slot. ) I have tried removing all equipped items and skills but nothing im using on any character can be canceling the spectra blades barrier blade effect

What were you seeing that you thought was Barrier Blade stacks?
There is no icon, there never was. There never has been. The way you can tell Barrier Blades is working by mousing over your health globe and checking your shield amounts.
E.g. (with Magic Weapon: Deflection and Galvanizing Ward disabled, generating shields only via Barrier Blades)

That was at 1.95 sheet APS with Fragment of Destiny but not Shame of Delsere, so a 21 frame Spectral Blade. Expected max stacks = 60/21*3 = 8.6. Observed a 9 stack maximum where the 9th stack has a very short duration as the first stack elapses very shortly after the 9th stack is generated, everything checks out.

Fragment of destiny stacks are tracked on the buff bar and has the spectral blade symbol, so maybe that’s what you saw. Fragment runs up to 10 stacks though.
