Many of us hate D4, and still love D3, AND some of us still like to brawl. I know I know the forums are ‘dead’…

Honestly didn’t even know that brawling was still in the game. 
Could you try to sell it to us non-brawlers a bit?
Like, do you have restrictions on gear? does anything 1-shot everyone? Is there a meta? Are ppl competitive, or just for lulz?
What do you find enjoyable about it yourself?

Well, you don’t have to worry about your gear getting destroyed, and it doesn’t take any rank or points away if you lose. it is just a way to test out your builds on someONE as opposed to something. Normally when you fight you are fighting against a computer. Your timing will generally be better than the pc’s timing. When fighting against another person, you get a different kind of reaction I guess.
Honestly, there is no real in game benefit, other than the experience itself. I would prefer to fight another person who will do things I do not expect as opposed to a computer that will do something randomized and timed…

Sadly, brawling is far, far, far deader than the forums. One of the many “good idea, horrible implementation” problems that frequently plagued this game.
Did some checking for you and there are like 7 communities with the tags “brawl”, “PVP”, or “duel”. All the communities have 1-11 members with none active in the last 3 days. Last post in “Brawling” forum was in March.
Wish you luck finding some peeps, unfortunately, it will probably be a long wait.
