My first sub 6 minute 130 clear. The new changes get two thumbs up.
Did you have that 10k paragon all allocated or did you test at the 5k benchmark Blizz set?
It is all in strength. Power has not changed but the mobs,maps,density has and that can greatly affect how builds clear. Generally for the better.
Any idea how many keys you dropped before you found the Orek’s Dream?
Looks like the gist of it is: only good maps, only good mobs. First map looks like standard Horror/Mother, 2nd map is Lacuni/Phasebeast, so not some weird mixed-up mob type.
3rd key was an oreks and another 6 to find my sub 6 minute clear. That fields map will be the new “Rank 1 map”

Hmm. I wonder if that is jacked up for the PTR. If we’re now going to be finding Orek’s Dreams and Transformers Fields of Misery every 10 keys, fishing is going to be very different.

You sure? Desolate Sands looks like a huge open donut with no obstacles, just like in the T16 version. You could probably pull the whole map to one spot…
It has a big ole island in the center. That will cause pulling to slow down. Fields has smaller islands that mobs will walk around. Both will be better then now.
True, though that island is so big, and the space around it is also so big, that it might not be that much of an obstacle.
Although sands is a lot bigger so more mobs are available meaning more elites most likely.
The new fields map spawns 7 packs, where as desolate and cemetery spawn 6 , so yeah fields will Deffo be rank 1

Like, could you essentially fish for a 0-progression condi on fields with transformers or somthing and mostly zbarb your way to a GR150 RG at 3 minutes? Then just stack stricken 10 minutes and gg?
Thanks MB. I figured out how to do it now. Anyways I decided to fish another 100 keys and see if I could also break my 130 time. I managed a 130 in 5:05. Also I saw about 10 festers which is actually really good. I would say they probably doubled the spawn rate. I did not see another oreks dream though so they seem to be fairly rare.
@Cascade we are already fishing 8 elite festers. Ideally you don’t want a 0 progress conduit. A zero progress shield while wearing squirts is helpful. Problem with an early conduit is you waste it all on trash and miss elites that spawn at the end of the map.
Did you try other runes than bt and how did they do?
My tests have been with rend.
In the leaderboard, I just saw a 150 made by a LoD HoTA in 13:34 with 12144 paragon. The new GR are insane !
