I was not able to log in without freezing on any of my 4 characters on this account (they were all Season 17 characters). Finally I tried rolled a new level 1 character and I was able to log her in. I logged back out and tried one of my frozen characters and found I could now log in without freezing. The account now works fine. Weird.
