Solo Self Found (SSF) for S22, PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN!

ear Diablo 3 team,

Please allow us players to finally get an SSF mode for Diablo 3 in Season 22.
The community has been begging for it for so long.
The SSF mode would go perfectly with a targeted balancing patch!

Diablo 3 could finally catch up with PoE. Because the only thing that is really demotivating in every season is the fact that as a solo player you have no chance to keep up with group players.

These will always and without exception be at the top of the leaderboards.

There is no alternative and at the same time effective method to be able to keep up with group of four players.

As a Diablo 3 veteran since Vanilla, I know how much the community longs for an SSF mode to finally be able to farm solo weeks after weeks in order to be able to compete on a par with like-minded people. - And you as our Diablo 3 team know that much better.

Please make Season 22 a balancing patch without a huge season theme but an SSF mode.

The community including me would love you more than anything.

With best regards and stay safe during these times,

A SSF would leave no excuse for the other mode being more trading-friendly.

Anyway, too huge of a change for a game on its way to be replaced. And also not the best moment with the community in its bare minimum due to the bad season.

No, it doesnt matter, we want full ssf mode available

  • play 100% solo from start to finish. No p-levelling, no split bountiying/rifting, noone joining your game or vice verca at any stage.

There’s your SSF…

No, it isn’t. I see you have no business here and you even don’t understand idea of ssf mode so why you interfere in this topic?

Playing solo and competing with others who are doing things solo too is fun for some people and whatever you say won’t change it, so: please make ssf mode !

Interesting perspective. I think what players are actually interested in is: there being approximately equal reward for equal time and effort spent.

As several other threads have mentioned, currently, players that spend most of the season playing in groups usually end the season with DOUBLE the XP of players that play mostly solo, with the same number of hours spent playing the season. (Not to mention the whole difference in magic find and bounties/rerolls, etc…)

Quick and easy ‘fix’: Double the XP gained when there is only one player in the game.

I don’t know whether it is a perspective or not, considering the one who posted it was an ex-Blue D3 community manager, but she is literally telling you guys that D3 team doesn’t have enough resources to do SSF for the minority that wants SSF.

You guys would have better luck campaigning that thought for D4 Quarter blog or something.

Not going to happen, Blizzard only cares about group players.
Solo players have always been second class citizens to them.

HAHAHA Imagine being one of the biggest video-game companies around the world and telling your playerbase that you have no resources to make a SSF mode while a new little company is able to include it in their F2P game… ROFL

And yep, what is preventing me to spend more than two months in a solo play while 4player groups can reach the same point in around… 2 hours?

What does it matter how quickly or slowly anyone else reaches a whatever point?

How about you focus on your own screen and mind your own business? You’ll be much happier for it.

And like I said, if you want SSF, look no further than

  • play 100% solo from start to finish. No p-levelling, no split bountiying/rifting, noone joining your game or vice verca at any stage.

Then you would be OK with solo players receiving tons of bonuses while 4 players party only get high extra difficulty? I’m pretty sure you won’t

Yep, because I’m a primarily solo player (so go ahead and wipe that smirk off your virtual face). I’ll only group up during double bounty cache bonus.

And I couldn’t care less what everyone else is doing.

You know, maybe because all the resources were put into Diablo 4? Why should they wasting their resources on the 8 years old game when the sequel is in development?

Unless you worry about the leader boards (Which no one really should) you can play fine by yourself and still complete the season. This season I played solo and still completed the whole season in less then two days.

Because I love dishing out reality checks, since you clearly have no clue as to what you’re actually asking for - since I gave it to you and you failed to recognize it.

Also  :point_up_2:  :point_up_2:  :point_up_2:

1You failed to see the point of a leaderboard game. Your sense to insult and troll overrules your IQ if this is the kind of argument u answer with.
What he asked for is a SSF mode specifically a seperate leaderboard were a solo player that will never get 6000k paragon in a season or materials to have all primal 150 AUG gear compete with group players on the same board.
WTF…

Just a handful have been asking for it.

Not sure why you want a “attaboy” for playing with self found stuff.

Boosting solo play would be a very good thing. Boosting such that it get near group play rewards. Such as gr lever, xp, gold, loot etc.

Not asking to nerf groups or solo to surpass group play. Just asking to significantly close the gap by boosting solo. For example through the follower.

Buy one of the console versions and play Seasons. Problem solved.

No, because that wouldn’t make any sense.

More players → harder mobs → more exp. That actually makes sense - you don’t have to like it, but it makes sense.
