i hope they don’t nerf it too badly. one season should be super easy. it does not take much to push 6000+ party of 4 (for elites) that can do 150s superfast. it just takes a lot of time and dedication to be able to do 150s for most people.
I know! I hate when juicy stuff comes out during the spring and summer. I won’t be trying it for months lol
Agree, I never done a 150 so s28 is my last chance for that… would be nice to end D3 with a 150 … every little bit of power will help ![]()
Spoiler Alert: 150 is just like all the rest. I was expecting Diablo to jump out a cake. :sad face:
If you haven’t done a 150 in prior seasons, I would not automatically assume you will do so this season. Some of the prior seasons had extremely powerful themes. Ultimately, if you are more of a casual player, you still won’t grind enough paragon to knock out 150s again. Every season, I see the streamers state that many people will reach it, but yet people still say they have not tasted near that level to date.
If you are willing to create a z and learn how to play it properly in groups, you might get lucky enough to get into a group doing 150s.
I don’t know why anyone, given Blizzard’s track record, would think they’d leave it like this. We’ve seen similar broken PTR’s multiple times that were fixed.
People need to realize the PTR is a testing environment. That means it’s not in any way an indicator of the potential for the season. Broken results are acceptable on the PTR because you are actively trying to break things. And, yes, the streamers are as guilty as anyone in this. They will throw out projections pre-season that simply don’t align with expected results only to see a massive adjustment in the final patch notes.
I’ve seen youtube videos from streamers like Raxx, Wudi and others that clearly state that we should expect some of the altar nodes be changed quite a bit.
Bah. Just wait for one day and we will know. ![]()
Next we want to know what exact time the notes will come ![]()
Yes, I was a bit disappointed too
So far I did 150s in groups (in softcore and hardcore), and only one time 150 solo with a monk, that season when it was really OP (still had to reach 2,800 paragons to do it). My goal in season 28 is to finally reach 150 solo with a DH (which has always been my favorite class).
Depends on the changes on Nats. Otherwise Happy 5k Paragon grind to do it with Marauders i guess.
In 5h 34min it’s Friday where I live ![]()
It’s not where Blizzard lives. ![]()
Yeah, I’d expect the patch tomorrow at 9AM PST at earliest which would be 7PM for me.
Patience, my friends.
The patch notes are being released tomorrow, not the patch.
I was supposed to write “patch notes” but my fingers skipped an entire word when writing that post.
Not a first time that’s happened. ![]()
The part of me that enjoys chaos would like to see a major overhaul of the entire tree, with the current “optimal path” from the PTR completely broken up. At the very minimum they should switch the move speed one to being under the xp pools so there is more of a reward if one chooses not to twink.
Instead of having the effect you desire, the optimal path is now clearly massacre/70/pools/movement.
In that situation, my desire is to have the move speed after the pools, so it is fulfilled.
I don’t think you can really introduce any really meaningful decision-making without completely rearranging the tree.
IMO, that won’t create meaningful choices. Some nodes for a given moment in time are simply superior.
