So, I’ve begun my hunt, once again, for Sir Williams. I’ve read much of what’s out there about him; however, is it still the consensus that difficulty level is irrelevant? (Though I don’t know the number of runs, I do ball-park it between 300-500.)
Just looking for ways to make this go faster.

Yes, that’s my worry, also. For the longest time, I thought the portrait was a Legendary Drop. That, and I once repopulated the game without finishing the map. (I still wake-up screaming!)
I’ve found him probably a dozen times, for friends, other accounts and other regions. I usually use my perma horse sader in normal. Longest time was 33 hours, shortest time was 15 hours. Some people got him under 10 hours. He’s not real rare, but as people have noted, watch the chat. I almost exited the game once when I looked at chat and saw that I hit him but didn’t know it.
Killed him on the 16th try for the portrait. Took about 76 rainbows gob kills over 3 weeks to finally get the princess spawn. I was running bounties for 9-10 hrs a day plus running through a few areas that gobs seem to spawn a lot.
Very true, i got the Rainbow sword and the Hamburger fairly quickly.
Since then have spent many many hours seeking the Wings, to no avail.
Not a sight of Princess Lilian at all.
Got fed up with it, so now just casually go into the map and if shes there good.
If not then too bad it may happen eventually.
Strange thing is i have got the Hamburger three times now and have them stored. Just kept them as had lots of space at the time.
Have only ever got the Sword one time.
I thought if you got the Hamburger one time, then it wouldn’t drop again.
It does drop again though, so why is this ?
I could understand if i was in a party and someone didn’t have the item,
but i play solo all the time.

your best bet is to set it to like t1 so you can just speed through it but still get those sweet legendaries
