Share followers across each character

Should be able to share them across all of your characters. How difficult is that to add in?

That sounds like an excellent QoL change.

Has nothing to do with being lazy.

What is so lazy not wanting to play the arbitrary game of loading one character, stripping your follower, loading another character and equipping that follower?

It does nothing but waste time.

Good for you for getting every follower geared. Not everyone plays like you.

Its not hard to gear follower, QoL change would be allowing follower a unified mainstat since not every player is interested in creating a STR/DEX/INT alt just to roll the correct main stat gears for their followers.

Many “players” just want everything to be done for them now.

Playing games is a time sink.

Nor does everyone play like you.

I don’t mind having separate followers. In non-season I use them as mules to keep items as my stash is completely full

I agree, not everyone plays like me, but I am not here name calling and saying people are lazy for having a different viewpoint, am I?

It’s like the player asking for something and then another player greatly exaggerates saying they want every piece of gear to be BiS after 10 minutes for asking a mundane question.

Not saying it is a dumb idea, or that wanting it is lazy, but how often does it really make a difference?

The majority of content can be done with an ok geared follower, it’s only for pushing where you want them to be optimal so if you only have one set of that nature you only need to swap it out when you decide to push with the other character, and that isn’t exactly something that we switch around often?

Ok for optimal speed rifts you also want proper follower gear, but it doesn’t take that long for you to get those items while doing normal farming right? If you miss a percent or two here and there it isn’t a big deal for speeds. Like you don’t need those near perfect attack speed etc rolls for it, just the 25 000 mainstat.

I personally kind of like that they aren’t shared, gives more loot hunt and I use one stash tab for follower items so switching between the mentioned push builds is the same for between characters as when I need to go from push build to rift one anyway.

But obviously wouldn’t hate it being an option.

What they need to do is add Followers to the armory system.

First, this is not a quality of life change; you are asking them to remove potential slots where you can store extra items. Second, you are narrowing your choices to pick a Follower for different tasks. You have to keep all of them for push setups in case this apply. This means you can not pick one for bounties, other for neph rifts/vaults and one for push. You have no idea about the comfort you have.
I don’t wanna know what you have read at online guides or interpret, but you don’t have to bring your very same Follower to bounties just because it is the most optimized Follower type on a push setup. Adorn other Followers and they will be useful with different item setups at different tasks.

Lastly, not every build benefit from same setup; some like Unity, some don’t require that. You can keep all shared Followers in push setup but some builds prefer their push Followers to equip RoRG with Guardian’s Set for keeping All-skill access tokens instead of Unity. Bounty or nephalem rift Followers would have Avarice Band or Krede’s Flame even.
Seriously, this is silly to ask such thing as it is a clear step back. I’d understand that if you ask Armory to store items instead of recording their print but this is not that.

Not only different tasks, but depending on the build one is using, there will be a follower that is more optimal to use and ideally geared up in a way that benefits that build.

It’s already inefficient that we don’t have an armoury/stash for just the followers so we can switch things around more easily. It would suck even more if all our characters/builds had to share the same follower setups.

Include them in the armory too, please.

Nah…! Some of my followers are actually extra stash space.

Don’t! I use most followers as mules on my nonseason account!
