Severe lag in D3 Seasonal HC, and just D3 Seasonal HC

Dear Blizzard Support Family,

I have a strange issue to report. Currently, as of this morning EST, Seasonal HC is unplayable due to lag. I play on the US servers.

However, Seasonal SC is fine. D4 is fine … it’s just D3 Seasonal HC that is bad. My ping (sub 100, usually around 80ish) and frame rate (140+, usually 250+) is fine. It just goes into molasses mode once I get to the first decent pull.

Is there something that could be on my end that causes this? I can’t think of anything, and I’ve tried all the usual suspects, rebooting my router and system, reinstalling D3 (it’s on a solid-state drive) and fiddling with the sound and graphics settings to no avail.

Help?

Thanks,

Don

I have the same issue.
Since the beginning of the season 32, Diablo 3 has been unplayable.
Meanwhile, D4 remains normal, stable and playable. So the problem is not with my pc or my connection.

Here we go, servers fishing is a thing in D3… again…

damn, that might just be it, everyone making new games to farm Staff of Herding = lag :exploding_head:

Don’t forget those who need to fish to clear a 150, or to set a new record on the leaderboards.

bruh, you no need make new game for that… anymore… XD … unless fishing for lagless server facepalm
