Hi,

I have discovered a serious problem with the season right now. I was playing the Sophisticated Necro, where the Simulacrums do all the heavy lifting.

I kept finishing these GRs with like less than 100 stacks of the season buff, but I know I was never dropping the buff.

Then I realized…the buff doesn’t increase when the Simulacrums kill the enemies! This seems to be a major bug or oversight.

I’m not playing a pet class to test out, but that would be a huge missed opportunity for anyone playing a pet build. I wonder if it works with Wizard Hydras as well…

The season works with Witch Doctor pets and Crusader pets so idk why it doesn’t work with Simulacrums. I was like why am I finishing these GRs in 2 minutes but only at 80 stacks when I never dropped them? And I realized the Simulacrum kills don’t count

I looked at the solo necromancer s35 leaderboard and there is a 150 clear with 2106 paragons and a 141 with 1235 paragons on the EU Masquerade necro set board (also a 150 with 3085 paragons). So the season theme does seem to work some way or another.

I didn’t say it didn’t work; if the necro themselves kill the enemies, stacks are granted. However, 85% of the damage comes from the simulacrums, and their kills don’t grant stacks.

I agree that it’s a problem. If our follower’s attacks count to the kill streak, the Simulacrums’ should too.

Would probably help to record a video showcasing the bug/oversight to verify that there is an issue and how it occurs.

I don’t have the computer to record video game footage. But you can trust I’m not lying or mistaken. Try it yourself if you don’t believe me.

The build doesn’t use curse. Also I just tried it, curses don’t change a thing, pandemonium stacks are still not granted by simulacrums killing enemies

Not implying that you’re lying. It always helps expedit the process when devs are given visual details and proof on how the problem works and they can easily replicate the problem to verify it.

At the moment, it’s one person saying there’s an issue with no proof. It’ll be prioritised low to fix since they can’t confirm if it’s real or fake on face value.

One person with undeniable proof though… well even that can move mountains (based on my experience).

I guess that so few are using the Masquerade build and those who do, or play necromancer and could verify the problem aren’t on the forum.

Again, please just use your necro character and use masquerade and see for yourself. I wish I were lying or mistaken, honestly; because then the season theme would be working properly.
