Season's going pretty well

I must be doing something wrong.

My Diablo 3 folder is already in my C drive though, so that might be where I’m messing up. I mean, it’s in my program files but it is on my C drive.

Sorry, guys, I’m like totally clueless when it comes to tech.

But anyway, it keeps saying the “Target is invalid. Make sure your path and file name are correct.” But I copy and pasted the that from your post, so that should be correct, right?

Make sure you go to \Diablo III\x64\ and create “Diablo III64.exe” shortcut. Then Put the shortcut to your Dekstop for easy access.

I just hit the luckiest streak of Visions this morning. In one Vision, I got 6 Primals and within a half hour got 4 more from two other Visions.

But 6 Primals, man that was something, nothing I could really use other than a Visage of Gunes that I intend to use in a LoD build. But the sheer number of them blew my mind.

And I thought I was lucky.

Hadn’t played much in the past 2 weeks. Jumped on the other night to use up a few puzzles and bardiches… got two primals from vault and 2 from a fissure. 3 of them actually useful.

At this rate, I’m gonna have a primal LoD HOTA build… when I prefer playing the IK variant more - lol

I think I have finished my loot hunt for this Season. A crafted Primal ring and a good rolled Sanctified amulet really solved the issue for lacking items. I just have no energy left for getting my gem ranks up to push further. I have been trying different Set specs and setups to figure out a proper plan for the next Season.

I’m gonna be taking my loot hunt up a notch. Have decided to keep my seasonal Barb as a second barb in NS so I can run MOTE and R6 builds in NS too, and also keep my LOD HOTA build seeing how I got so lucky with gearing it up.

I think I have a few items to get like one of the two spears for R6 BT.

Of course, now I have the problem of what character to delete if I wanna play future seasons

Well, I’m at 3140 paragon, have completed a GR 148 and I’ve switched my build from Shadow Strafe to old reliable, Natalya’s. I could get a 149, but the game is lagging out for some reason.

One thing I don’t understand is why more people don’t use my build when it comes to running Nat’s especially if you’re on a computer and can use the numlock trick.

I mean, I sort of do understand it since the build everyone else uses with Nat’s is about 3 Tiers stronger but when you’re doing 150’s anyway, that 3 Tiers is nothing.

Anyway, in my build, I use Esoteric, BotT, and Stricken as my gems.

My skills are:
Shadow Power/Gloom on numlock
Vengeance/Dark Heart on numlock
Fan of Knives/Bladed Armor on numlock
Caltrops/Bait the Trap
Spike Trap/Custom Trigger
Evasive Fire/Hardened

I also use Dawn over Nat’s Slayer and equip Nat’s Ring over CoE.

Since, I don’t have to max out Cooldown to use Vengeance, I can replace some cooldown rolls with Area Damage which helps make up some of the difference between Nat’s Slayer and CoE/Dawn and Nat’s Ring.

Then I can stand in the middle of most mobs, especially if I have the Protection Shrine Effect and hold down Spike Traps, tap Caltrops occasionally, and tap Evasive Fire to detonate the Spike Traps.

I mean, there’s mobs you have to avoid sometimes, like too many Slasher Lacuni will wreck you and you have to dodge Dark Berserker swings. And Unburied can mess you up too. But other than those you’re pretty safe as far as standing in the middle of mobs.

It’s super easy and not clunky at all as long as you’re using the numlock trick and I much prefer my build over the one everyone else uses.

Have a GR150 clear on all classes now (SSF, EU).

Last one was Shadow Impale on DH with just a tad over 4K paragon. Was my first Shadow Impale 150 clear ever.

Probably will try to do some of the “easier” sets on all classes where applicable.

Had to defend my spot on the DH SSF No Set Leaderboard. I had done a 122 earlier in the day. Someone decided to do a 124 to take the top spot. I ran a GR 125 and then a 127 for good measure.

I think I can do a GR 130 half augmented on a Orek Dream Map or just a regular map like Battlefields, Graveyard, Fields of Misery, or Festering Wood if the mobs are right.

For now though, I gotta help my wife get ready for work then I’m gonna get some sleep.

I keep getting desynchronizations and freezes. It’s a miracle that I have finally hit GR125 solo with Mundu WD. As I have check the leader boards I have noticed that my gem ranks are really low compared to most clears. I’ll focus on farming my low gem ranks and hit higher if possible but with freezes at random, I doubt it.
All I do lately was farming items from Visions before I get freeze-locked out of the game then closing it for the day. I need to check my network settings some time later.

According to the arrangement of Haedrig’s, Zunimassa’s Set is the next for Witch Doctors so I have been wasting some time to figure a good build on it. Everything I have read about the Set says it’s too fragile but when you tweak it around that was no longer the case. With Sacrifice power of Sanctified WD items, I was able to create a nice build for this Season and it doesn’t die easily. I’m planning to do the same and stick to it when next Season rolls.

When I was farming all the Witch Doctor items for the cube I went with Gargantuan power and crafted a Spite Mojo from Headrig. I was only farming items so I wasn’t pushing with it, but I liked the build for Zuni. Garg’s got two runes for free and with the Ring (can’t remember if it’s Little Man’s or Big Man’s that increases your Garg’s to three) it felt pretty powerful since my equipment was just slapped together. No ancients and most didn’t have the greatest stats.

But I wasn’t really trying and like I said I wasn’t pushing or anything like that. But it was a fun little build.

I used Firebats- Vampire Bats with MoC, which solves a few issues with Zuni; a short range spender that is consistent, high proc coeff provides LpH and stacks Stricken also it grants you some damage mitigation. For long distance, you always have Piranhado or Zombie Piranhas (Visions and Nightmares) for tagging targets.
My plan is to switch between skill runes of Sacrifice as character develops; Pride to trigger FnR rings until I achieve Depth Diggers, then Provoke the Pack for spamming Darts builds. Next Season, most likely WD won’t have an abundant source of Zombie Dogs and Gargantuan but I think it can manage.

It was Short Man’s Finger. That works with Zuni builds well for farming purposes. Especially this Season with Sanctified power, you’ll get six Gargantuans with really high damage output from SMF. As for Spite, I think cleave ability cause Gargantuan’s damage to split evenly between multiple targets but I need more tests on it.

Thanks for the information. I don’t really play Witch Doctor so I’m basically clueless as to how the class works.

On another note…

Completed a GR 130 with the LoD Strafe/Cluster Bombs Build the top players on the No Set Leaderboard for DH are using. And I’ve got 3500 paragon now.

What I’m wondering is when is the Season supposed to end? I’d like to get to 4000 paragon by season’s end but I’m not sure if I have enough time. As far as the LoD build, I kinda dig it. Wouldn’t work in any other season but it’s pretty good build considering the DH doesn’t really have a powerful LoD build. I mean, it won’t do a GR 150 I expect but I think it can do 135 pretty handily. Might touch 140 with enough paragon. But I’m not certain about that.

I think less than a month or so left.

Wanted to check your profile from here but I think database of the site got desynchronized again and it’s not up to date.

I think the only time LoD RF DH climbed to GR 150 was at Soul Shard Season. I need to check leader boards to be sure.
This guide has the record of it at the video by the bottom of it;

If Blizzard sticks to their routine 86 days Seasons:

  • Season 34 will end on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 5 PM PDT/CEST/KST.
  • Season 35 will start on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 5 PM PDT/CEST/KST.

As of this post there are 21 days left in Season 34.

Since Altar season, there has been GR150 clears for LoD RF in S28, S30, S31, S32. For those seasons, only 1-3 total GR 150 clears for regular NA. It is a fun build, but pretty weak compared to other DH builds.

That could be true. But I’m also using my alt account. Same name but it’s newer. So, if you’re trying to check it from the forum it will show my main account which I only played long enough to get the Altar complete and run a few GR’s before switching to my alt for this season.

What’s funny is on my main account I’m just short of 5000 paragon and took years of playing to get to Paragon 3500 paragon on it and I’m sitting at 3500 on my fresh account with less than 3 months play time. Tells you how much the game has changed since I bought Diablo 3 a couple of months after RoS dropped.

Edit:

You could check the account i’m using though. The battletag is KillerProc#1765. But I’m decked out in my UE Pargon farming set.

Edit #2:

I completed a GR 133 with the LoD build and am currently trying for 134. I can get it because I’m close even though the game isn’t cooperating with giving the right mobs on a decent map. I’m doing some fishing, but I only have about 40 keys left. Should be enough to get an Orek’s Dream or two though.

Edit #3:

Proof that complaining on the forums does in fact effect the game. Within two keys, I didn’t get an Orek’s Dream but I did get a Festering with Accursed. Good enough to get GR 134 done.

Thinking about trying for GR 135 with my remaining keys.
