Hello I’m new to the game and was wondering why i cannot make a seasonal character.
The season does not start until the 26th.
Season 27, Light’s Calling, will begin on August 26 at 5 p.m. PDT/CEST/KST.

This is why Blizzard posts stickied announcement threads about season starts…
Confusion may have been caused by the Launcher’s splash advert…
27.8. 1:00 BST/2:00 CEST/3:00 EEST was start time in Europe for console players.
ALL console regions started at same time with NA (17:00 PDT).
CEST has nothing to do with Asia. It’s Central European Summer Time, Germany’s current time zone.
I know, which is why I showed a screenshot of the launcher showing the CEST equivalent time of the Asia server’s start time, rather than the EU servers start time.
Except that’s not in your screenshot, only in yellow text you added.

This is clearly wrong, because the start time for EU was August 26 17:00 CEST which is why I added the yellow text saying so to the screenshot.
