I just returned to Diablo 3 after a couple of years away. I created a seasonal Wizard and reached level 70, completed the first set of challenges and received the 6 piece set of armor. Then I make a seasonal Necromancer. I just completed the campaign and reached level 70. I was wondering if I can get a six piece set of armor for my Necromancer now? If so, how? All of the level 1 challenges are showing as completed (obviously from my Wizard). Any help is greatly appreciated!
Season rewards like Haedrig’s Gift (the “armor set”) are granted once per account, per season for completing the tasks to earn them (Chapters 1-4 of the Season Quest.) Note, the character that “earns” the Gift is not the one that has to open it - so you may have used the Wizard to get the Gift but the Necro to open them.
So, no, you cannot get a new set for the Necromancer without earning it. Basically, use the Wizard to stockpile Shards and then use the Necro to gamble them at Kadala.
Or, the other way is to buy a new Diablo 3 with a different account.
Completing Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the Season Journey will reward you with three of Haedrig’s Gifts. These contain a few pieces from one of your Class Sets. Players can only unlock one Class Set in this manner per Season across Hardcore and Non-Hardcore, so choose wisely!
Various ways…
Kill mobs, they drop loot
Earn Bloodshards on your Wizard, spend them at Kadala on your Necromancer.
Craft yellow, rare items at the Blacksmith then use the “Upgrade rare to legendary” recipe of Kanai’s Cube whilst on your Necromancer, e.g. if you need a specific legendary two-handed scythe for your Necromancer’s build, craft a level 70 rare two-handed scythe at the blacksmith and upgrade that in the Cube using your Necromancer.
Some set items, such as Captain Crimson and Aughild’s are craftable at the Blacksmith.
Ask nicely in the General Chat channel if anyone would be willing to let you tag along with them whilst they’re running T16 rifts or GRs, so that you get drops that are Necro-specific.
If you’re in groups with other Necromancers, ask them nicely if they’d be willing to drop spare Necro gear for you (i.e. Necro gear they get but don’t need).
OK. I’ve never bothered with multiple regions as I see no reason to (I don’t know anyone who plays outside my immediate circle of two.) But, cool, I guess, for those who might need triple characters around the world.
So, as a movie once said “That’s sound advice.”
