So, i moved away from LoD Blessed Shield because of low dmg.
Made a Bomb Sader ( thorns ofc,because only this works) but i’m wondering about a few things.
Why do Bombers still use Pig Sticker ? I understand it on Invoker but Bomb ?
I use primal Ancient Doombringer for example. You can see my actually equiped gear.
I know lot to do to get thorns on nearly every item.
How do you deal with Riftguardians ? This take ages. I do it like the guide on maxroll told. But doesn’t work. Cant even pull Riftguardian. Sometimes i have so much time left but i cant kill the Riftguardian in time. In This Case Blessed Shield is better.
Pig Sticker is generally used because it can roll with more affixes than any other weapon. Its high attack speed is for sure a little bit wasted with Bombardment (only helps with Stricken stacks) but it’s still the best choice for pushing.
Doombringer is a decent weapon with its guaranteed physical damage% roll.
Unless you use Stricken, IAS is wortless. Bombardments has fixed attack speed. However Stricken has an internal cooldown which is dependent on your attack speed.
Switched now stricken to bane, mobs go down much faster, more time for riftguardian but i cannot kill him in time. And its only 125. Even my blessed shield build with much lower dmg did it. Dont know what im doing wrong.
Well, i never tried holy bomb.
Fire ( bad) and thorns.
Will try it now with my fire gear and jordan

Nope, Holy is even worse than fire. Thorns dmg is so much higher but cant really play this build because cant kill riftguardian in time. Maybe the bomb build isnt for me.
I tried that phalanx condemn build- not funny for me .
And i also tried blessed hammer long ago with the set, wasn’t funny either. And i think booth builds needs the sett and not LoD
You are correct. H-Bomb is short for Hammer-Bombardment.
Just to clarify, Blessed Hammer and H-Bomb are completely different builds. Blessed Hammer uses the Seeker of Light (SoL) set, while the H-Bomb is an LoD based set.
Per your post, I am not sure what you mean by “both builds” needing a set and not LoD. Both Phalanx and Blessed Hammer do use sets. Phalanx uses the Akkhan set and Blessed Hammer uses SoL. Only H-Bomb is a LoD build here…and I have repeatedly cleared GR 150 with it, so that’s a solid endorsement for its effectiveness. Also, a while ago there was a GR 150 clear with the H-Bomb on Hardcore leader boards by a player with under 10k paragons.
I am working on an assumption that this was a reference to the H-Bomb build. Accordingly, if your elemental damage modifiers are anything but Physical, then you must use the Stone of Jordan to convert the damage to Physical. Otherwise, yes, the elemental modifiers will go to waste.
Finally, your “Edit” note, where you claim that holy damage is higher than Fire is simply in error. The H-Bomb only inflicts Physical damage and no other damage at all.
