Season Party Issues

Hey Blizzard folks

I haven’t been able to play D3 for a while, but I’ve just updated some software and now i can.

I’ve Rebirthed my hero, and i’ve had trouble joining up with season heroes, and what i’ve found is that, Other people who have rebirth’d their heroes See me as a season character, but people who create new seasons heroes see me as non season, and vice versa.

Theres a glitch of some sort

Rebirthed season heroes are compatible with each other

New season heroes are compatible with each other

Rebirthed heroes and new season heroes view eachother as being non season and thus cannot connect.

Indeed there is. It’s much wider reaching than the issue you reported though and has been on-going for about two and a half weeks now…

Here’s where we’re at currently:

Party chat - Hoped to be resolved with next server restart.
Clan chat - Hoped to be resolved with next server restart.
Groups - Still under investigation.
Friends list - Still under investigation.
Community chat - Resolved.
Profiles: Fix in progress.

Unable to change character (when in a party), invisible characters (some chars not displaying in party menu), broadcast (not working) - need more info; for anyone experiencing these specific issues, please provide detailed descriptions about what steps are taken to encounter these. The idea being here is we need to reproduce these in order to figure out what’s causing them. Any info you can offer will be most appreciated.
