My gem leveling quests for the season journey aren’t updating. I got two gems one at 45 and the other at 35 and neither of the season journey quests have updated. I tried checking if there was an issue with my install and it wasn’t that.
Not a bug. Read the sticky note at top of all the common non-bugs.

Your current Character must be in possession of ALL 3 Gems to get credit. In other words: Urshi must be able to “see” all 3 Gems.
If you use any of the Gems to augment your gear or you give them to an alternate Character, Urshi cannot see all of them and you don’t get credit.
By “in possession” I mean: They must be equipped by your Character, in your Stash, in your Inventory or on your Follower.
Once you’ve successfully completed those Season Objectives, you can do whatever you want with them.
