I canāt speak for others, but I would very much hope that they at least just turn the seasonal option back on. Iād like to play seasonal with the Darkening event.

I like how on the D3 bnet page there is a Banner saying S33 is now live. With a bunch of Diablo Immortal adds.

Heya, I havenāt logged into game, NA servers, in a few weeks. Anyone know what I should expect if I do,. i.e. season ended, season still going but broken, season still going no issues, I should wait and seeā¦?
Really confused about the current state of game. Just hoping for some community clarification if possible since Blizz refuses to.

By not logging in, you arenāt forcing the account to merge or do anything.
I was logged in, but I have not started a game session since the season ended. But I know my Paragon was combined.

You canāt. Consoles have offline saves and XBox doesnāt allow you to manage / backup / restore saves.

In NA/US region, i cannot create a seasonal character (checking right now) and all my seasonal characters were shipped back to non-seasonal. The check box, when clicked, yields the message āNo Season availableā, as can be seen in my screenshot below, taken just now (12:45pm central)

they just rolled NA back to seasonal but mine is the EU disaster
I can see without starting a game that its messed up.
Paragon has no numbers, and my non-season still shows the updated paragon from the premature season end.
No leaf either. But it says seasonal.
Iām just not going to bother with it. Kinda annoyed.
Itās telling me that I canāt join a game with seasonal and non-seasonal characters on NA server.
try loading into a friends lobby, then remake one solo. im in season now on NA, but same as EU, wiped altar, stash, and paragon wiped and in the negatives. rollback option might be useful now
I had 2 contradictory experiences in NA realm:
First I logged on, and my 2 seasonal characters were seasonal again. However when I tried to start a game it had an error.
So I logged out and back in again - and it removed the seasonal option from my season 33 characters again.
Iām hoping theyāre still in the midst of their repairs?
I did not see any choices such as rollback. Just was not seasonal, then was, then was not. Iām going to just look away / work out for a couple hours and maybe check tonight if the dust has settled.
FWIW Iām in favor of a rollback at least as an option.
they are doing a server restart so fingers crossed

Yeah, not even kindaā¦a lot annoyed. And not just at the apparent internal failure of their own company, system, and lack of communication between each other, but the complete lack of communication with their community as wellā¦been very lacking. And yes i know they are working on it, but surely someone could post updates periodically.
Rollback gets the job done but there is too few people who know about this, so
on EU, in season nobody is playing public GR games,
But there are still some people on non-s.
What a mess.
There is no way to recover from this.
All i can think of is progressing solo in season,
because not a single player with whom i was playing with got their stuff restoredā¦
thats what we get for āoptionalā rollback
on EU its even worse because nobody is even using in game chat, this is so bizzare, not even complaining, just nothing

nobody is using the forums, and even if, the rollback link is so hidden
I got all back, i rolled back w the option in middle, para, gear, all is back, farmimg hard for gr 150 hc before season end in few weeksš

Iām not as invested in recent seasons so I canāt say this botched āseason endā thwarted leaderboard pushes or anything. However, I am once again blown away by the ghosting, for lack of a letter word. A mistake happened, which led to some inconsistencies with mergers. But to have zero official communication today, even a BS āHey, very sorry, we are looking into it.ā Some direction would be appreciated as it seems this is past the point of salvaging. Reminds me so much of the shafting of the altar to NS last year (I think?). Would be so easy to save some face by just engaging a tad more, legacy game or not. It would go a long way imo.
I really hope we can just move past s33 and roll into s34 this Friday. This past seasonal theme is pretty boring (not sure if that is a shared sentiment or not). Really hoping for angelic crucibles because that adds so much more true build diversity.
