I had seasonal chars on Asia (1 char), Eu (1 char) and Americas (2 chars + 1 HC char).
All characters were affected by the mistaken seasonal ending.
I performed cleanup and what not.
All characters were put back into season.
Including any stuff they were wearing or had in their inventories.
All stuff from stash, got mailed.
I cleared the mail on Asia and EU.
Today’s season end on Asia, I got stuff that was equipped and in inventory.
Seasonal stash was empty, hence no mail.
Today’s season end on EU, Nothing got transferred.
No equipped items, no items from char’s inventory, no items from stash mailed etc.
I hadn’t really played, just got the season guaranteed primal again though.
Not much exciting stuff though.
Now, i wonder what would happen on Americas. Will I lose its stuff as well?
I hope not. I got some nice things there.
Hope this transfers properly.
So even the gear you were wearing on your characters got deleted?
Hope I don’t have this problem. I spent this entire season farming Visions, so I could improve some of my non-season gear to Primals. I got like 9-10 correctly rolled Primals for my builds. I will very, very, if I lose these.
Ya, after seeing all the threads about Blip 2.0, I went in game, moved everything to characters. I also spend all the mats I could, since there is a chance I could lose all my seasonal mats.
Fortunately, I didn’t do any significant GR runs, so my paragon is really low for the season 1187 SC and 576 SSFM SC. It shouldn’t make a dent either way to my 5194 non-seasonal total.
Same here in Germany.
All I found in the last 2 weeks and ~1.500 Paragon-Points from the unintentional resetted season33 character (on Sunday before last) are gone
No items in mail system and no points in the non-seasonal chars
Thts really not funny, after starting from scratch 2 weeks ago
In my case, its about 60-70 paragon points I won’t get in non-season, but the loss of mats and gold sting a bit. I burnt up some of it crafting items today though. Managed to snag a couple of Primals that I hope I get to keep. Will know in about 2.5 hours… lol
Didn’t log on during Blip 1, so unaffected.
Played after Blip 1 with no issues.
For Blip 2, emptied all my season stashes onto characters before season ended.
After S33 ended:
all my SC,HC, HCSSF chars still had their items, and all mats added to NS
my SCSSF char had all mats added to NS, but the char was naked with no gear in inventory. What was on my SCSSF char and in the inventory was mailed to NS along with the 3 Haedrig’s gifts I didn’t claim after Blip 1.
Was that character re-geared prior to the season restart after it had ended early? There were others that noted a similar issue when that had occurred.
Yes i’m missing almost everything I did in the past 2 weeks. Which is extremely significant since that’s when I put most of the time into my character.
We have 4 accounts in the family. We been playing over on EU server. When they did the 1st end of season. We got everything back. At the end of the season yesterday we all got our stuff that roll over.
One thing we all do is we put everything on the characters. We even make extra characters to put stuff on. If we can help it we never let them mail anything to US. Plus we all don’t save everything too. If isn’t ancient or something that might help. It gets salvage or sold.
This account that has been here for almost 13 yrs. It has 3 stash spaces that doesn’t have anything in them.
Nope. Was out of town on the weekend. Came home on Monday and saw the meltdown over the weekend. Didn’t log on until a day or 2 after they restarted the season.
When Season 33 had an abrupt unannounced and unscheduled ending, I made sure to NOT LOGIN on Sunday or Monday with all the uncertainty. Once people reported the All Clear, I logged in on Tuesday and played normally the last 2 weeks and didn’t lose anything. Everything migrated over smoothly last night.
It’s sad that people experienced data loss, and in a perfect world, Blizzard would have stopped the season end or taken down the servers until it could be fixed to avoid future data loss, because the reality is there was NO WAY any migration script could cope with a situation where a season ended, then was restored, then the season ended again with duplicate overlapping conflicting data. No code could deal with that situation. When I saw the surprise ending, I did everything I could to avoid corrupted data – NOT PLAYING.
And leaving the season down for 2 weeks was not an appropriate solution. Many of us do our GR pushes first and then circle around and do the 3 Conquests at the end. If S33 had stayed down, I would have gotten NO CREDIT for participating in S33 despite investing hundreds of hours in it.
