I’m also think so. 25th is holiday. So they need to finish PTR and current season, and start the new one. I think that 17th is the end for S29 and 22th start the S30. And 15th is start of holiday gifts.
Hope it’s not too soon, I slacked and now I’m getting close to getting 2nd and third conquests (hopefully). Never done it before, but I want that Raven pet

If they are still sticking to 2 weeks announcement for season end (that we haven’t got yet), S30 shouldn’t really start before end of 2023, beginning of 2024.
Also, there is the January event with “Diablo 1” in D3, where you can get all soul shards from it’s bosses - so that would clearly nicely boost the S30 season theme.
It is completely acceptable for Debs to nerf a lot of gameplay, and the only hope is that there will also be altars exists in non-season.
The season end notice is usually given about two weeks in advance, give or take. Assuming they anounce it today or tomorrow, season 29 could end on Sunday 22 December, meaning a season 30 start on Friday 29 December. But I doubt it, my guess is rather that season 29 will end on Sunday 29 December and season 30 will start on Friday 5 January.

Here I am on 29 Dec and Sunday isn’t here yet. Did I miss a memo? Still no announcement on end and start dates either. Guess we will hear next week.

Season 30 incoming… and every single time the same question… geez… JUST WAIT… they will tell us eventually and you will have over 2 weeks to preper
Looks like we are now looking at a season 29 end on 14 or 21 January, and a season 30 start on 19 or 26 January. Unless they decide that these dates are too close to the D4 season 3 start (which is already set on 23 January) and postpone things furthermore…

Just in case you missed it, I was being a little sarcastic. Altair had his days and dates mixed up so I was poking fun at him. Both December 22nd and 29th are on a Friday. He actually did get the Friday 29 December right at one point then switched it to Sunday right after. Must have been a late night post. I am in no hurry for the next season. It will start when it starts and I will play it for quite a bit. Still enjoy the playstyle of D3 and am glad when new season starts.
