Champion Achievement “Destroyer of Rifts” is broken. Have been trying for days, both in multiplayer and single player, and have successfully beaten the greater rifts at torment 10 in under 6 minutes, including talking to Orek and closing the rifts on time. It will not register that we have beaten the challenge and allow us to move on to Destroyer challenge level with our seasonal characters. Even went so far as to set a timer to double check how fast we were going through. Both of us are having this issue, and it is frustrating.

Not a bug. You really need to pay more attention, as that achievement doesn’t mention greater rifts at all.

I don’t even know how you can do a Greater Rift on Torment 10. (Unless you mean GR45 through GR49, which is the equivalent to Torment 10).


But, as @TimberWolf pointed out, that is NOT the Season Journey Objective:

The operative phrase being: Nephalem Rift


And when you first click on the Nephalem Obelisk you have two choices:

SELECT A TYPE

  1. Nephalem
  2. Greater

I don’t know what to tell you that hasn’t already been said:

2 small additions:

  • The timer starts when you open the rift, not when you enter in it ;
  • The timer ends when you close the rift, not when you killed the boss.

Nephalem Rift: Chosen
Timer starts when rift opens: Understood
Timer shuts off when we talk to Orek: DOne

Not an idiot on this people. It literally is NOT registering the fact we HAVE DONE what is being offered as advice. Six times.

Well, you did originally say:


If you’re still having problems with this, you should video record your attempt and post a link to the video.

Start your recording before you click on the Nephalem Obelisk and continue until you talk to Orek and see the “Event Complete” popup window.


This will give Blizzard’s QA Team a chance to see what is going on.

Well then, you would be the first to find a bug in this objective after 20-odd season journeys. And the chances of that are quite low. In every case of a supposed “bug,” it has always turned out to be user error:

  1. Wrong difficulty level (this one has to be done on at least Torment X)
  2. Confusing Greater and Nephalem rifts
  3. Not understanding how the timer works

As mentioned, best thing is to record a video of your attempt and post it.
