I saw a YouTube video of someone doing a 150 solo on the PTR. Anyone want to guess what weapon they were using? Hint: it was NOT Jesseth set. It was with the Poison Scythe build that the OP said was DEAD in the water.

a 150 already? Thought the highest clear is 141.
If they start to solo 150sā¦this build will get nerfed for sure. Damn it xD
Edit 2: Without the 4th slot its really more of a mediocre build and feels a few tiers weaker than GoD, so they shouldnt touch it or even buff it a little
Regarding the topic:
Yeah it has been proven now mathematically in this thread that Jesseths is not the best option and that Bravata was wrong (who would have thought)
This also has been proven by the Results on the PTR.
Jessseths is lacking the Offhanddmg, so about 20% --> It should be 1 GR-LVL behind SOTC + Offhandcombinations --> this is what we see on the PTR too.
Howeverā¦its a differnt playstyle and you have some skellies you can use to freeze enemies. As 1 GR is not that huge of a differenceā¦if you wanna play Jesseths and find a good set just go for it by all means.

He is good at making outrageous claims, and thats about it
Man i hope they buff wizzard. Just tried Typhons and DMO and both felt pretty much unplayable

It was LoD Scythe, not Masquerade. I canāt find the video at the moment, but I watched a few minutes of it.
I canāt see a LOD Scythe setup coming close to bone spear. They donāt have the bracers, they only have half the essence for reilena.
But if anyone pulls it off, gratz, probably not completely impossible.
There is no 150 PTR clear however, Season or NS.
I donāt know that the video I saw was a completed GR. I know some people in the past didnāt finish GRās in the past to avoid nerfs. As far as LoD Scythe goes, it has done 150 on live server with the bugged Trag Oul Fang, but if the bug is fixed it loses a 3x multiplier and it gains the 4th cube slot of Shadowhook which is a 4.3x multiplier, so it should be even stronger than on live servers.
LoD poison scythe doesnāt use Reservoir rune so the best it can get is 2.65x from Shadowhook.
WIth LOD you donāt have all sim runes, so no double essence or you loose your 2nd sim. 330 essence = +165%damage, thatās not a 4.3x multiplier.
Donāt forget that the NS 150 clears are often if not always > 9k paragon, never gonna happen in season.
Oops, my bad. You are correct. See that OP, if you make a mistake and someone points it out, you accept it and move on.

Well P-Scythe can wear F+R + Cube CoE. So i think 150 Clears with P-Scythe shouldnt be impossible even thought it got nerfed through Trag ouls
There are 5 solo 150ās in the current season. With the bug fixed and the 4th cube slot, it should be a bit weaker than on live servers (3x vs 2.65x). I think 150 is not impossible in the season for LoD Scythe.
LoD Scythe can NOT use the Set rings, it would lose the LoD bonus.

Comparison briggs vs aughild in GR130+, 1300 paragon, average stuff 1.7M sheet damage.
From start with briggs, 1h08 with auguild.

Seen this video and dozens more like it, Apples and Oranges. It doesnāt mean one setup is better than another. Its all about the playstyle you choice. What works for you, with Briggs, without Briggs. Sometimes Damage isnāt everything, its how well you play the build you choose. Thats why its hard to compare build setups, you get use to one playstyle, then you change it. You canāt stay alive or get the damage you want, so you say the setup sux, when it just possible you just havenāt mastered the new playstyle the setup needed.

Out of all Setups i think Aughilds is my least favorite one.
You basically drop 50% Dr + Ringslot for 15% elitedmg + 30% dmg + 30% dr
I could just keep the 50% dr from the cubed shoulders and wear a soj
Soj:
50 % dr
30% Elitedmg
18 Essence so rougly + 18 % from Raleinas
20 % Elementaldmg
Aughilds in Comparision:
- +30 % Dmgreduction from Elites
- +0 % Elitedmg
- +12 % Dmg
- -35 % DR Overall
- -20% Elementaldmg that should outweight the 12 % as it goes into another multiplier
All in all they should play and feel roughly the same though. So i donāt really think there is a ābest buildā

I for example will drop dmg to wear Sunstone, so i can play as braindead as i usually do and enjoy showering in Arcane-Beams.
Or have you tried the combination of Justice Lantern and a Stormshield yet? You do loose 2-3 Grs in Dmg probably
But you can stand INSIDE the core when a Fatty explodes on 125.
You can just Ignore Frozen Orbs on Top of your head or a horde of Moonclan-Impalers. On top of that you get up to 50% Reduction of Control Imparing Effects.
You are nearly untouchable. Then you open youtube and listen to MC-Hammer Canāt touch this. And that feels pretty satisfying too. At least for me
