S31 - The Evolution of Week 1's Top Clear

Hello Community,

We made a decision last week to concentrate our efforts on analyzing the top GR150 clear, monitoring its progress daily, and documenting any developments. Here’s a glimpse into our findings:

To be transparent, these clears were achieved with Necromancers. What’s truly remarkable is that the results from Week 1 of Season 31 have surpassed the performance of Week 1 in the previous season—many of us doubted that Season 30’s achievements could be surpassed. Yet here we are, already witnessing clears up to GR160.6.

This really highlights the astonishing potency granted the Necromancer with the flexible cube—truly bonkers.

Nice job again.

However, other classes besides Necro probably are not even populated and pushed (yet) as last season.

There is the famous pusher who did 150 on WD in the meantime, he was not even fishing so hard (just a tad below P2900).

Also, last season it was much easier to augment other classes/sets due to soulshards giving a 125 augment. This time around it’s (boring) EN’s and/or leveling a gem for augs yourself.

From my perspective, I’m at P2300 now, had like 30-ish screams drop in around 600 GR’s played. Didn’t augment anything else than my LoD Nova yet (cleared a 150 solo just to get the max Blood Shards).

I understand nothing is as strong as Necro in this season, but I guess other classes will have more and more 150 clears in the next 2-3 weeks.

Too many choices when the only real option is necro. It might take a month before they make alts. Necros don’t need paragons to push. The other classes desperately do. Paragon takes time. D4 s4 got delayed, poe necropolis isnt new and LE s2 isn’t for another month or so. Hopefully those lack of options will allow D3 players to get more paragon than usual and catch up.

It was fun for a few weeks but playing a barb has gotten dull. This seasons theme gave us nothing. Might a well go play NS. I rolled a poison arrow necro and did 120 with crap gear for fun to test out the build. I hated the gameplay. Heck, I hate necros. I guess I’ll play something else until D4 season 4 comes out.

You read books? Fantasy? How about the Locked Tomb series from Tamsyn Muir then? ( The Locked Tomb - Wikipedia) Maybe you hate them even more or you start to like them…

All my chars some seasons ago where named after her! Normaly I use names from characters in books I am reading when a season starts, but back then, there was no interesting enough one, so I used the author’s name…
